It?s a big thing, when someone so open heartedly, says ?you?re welcome?! I value this tremendously! And, I can?t thank you enough, my dear friend. You gave me your number and I will call you before I book those tickets to Atlanta. I can't tell you how much this means to me!

Vicki, my sweet dear friend,it seems that you?re so tangled up in your every day chores, that you forget.. My chapter one was about John and how he forced himself on me. You PM?d me about it and told me about a similar experience you had, remember? Please, take care of yourself and know that I love you so much! By the way, I love the haircut, you look great!

PS: Please don't be so bored as to not read my chaptet 2. Rog, my dear friend, I've been there and I need you to pick up and be there with me and the rest of us.... I love you and you know what? You don't need any of us to correct your spelling...! Just use a comma every time you take a breath and it will all make perfect sense. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THIS, I'M AN ENGLISH TUTOR.

Hi All--just got a message my Dad has been rushed to Halifax hospital--don't know anything except he fell twice. I just talked to him last night and he asked me to find an application form to adopt a puppy. Apparently 5 had been abandoned along the highway yesterday. I sent an email inquiry last night and emailed him an application form today but hadn't heard anything til the message. I think like many of us he just will not slow down.

Effie-thank you for sharing more about you. The roads that bring us together are varied yet in many ways similar too. At 16 a "friend" pointed a gun at me and told me to take my clothes off. I refused several times until he put the gun away. How I ever stood my ground at that age, I'm not sure, but I was ready to die before someone would force me. Sometimes it takes years to realize how these events shapes our beings. I'm so glad you feel welcomed and safe to share as I believe this is part of the healing journey. May God continue to bless you with his mercy and peace. xo
Vicks-you can hardly tell you got a cut, but I know you know. You have a lovely, thick mane!
Rog-I hope you are hanging in there and have poured the rest out my friend.
Welcome back Mama--you know what strikes me as weird is that that guy looks like a good nice guy. Buyer beware eh.

He has heart problems--battled a couple cancers and gets feeling better and wants to attack life before he really recovers is my guess. I've only just reunited with him and he was feeling better after my visit and raring to travel to my part of the country. I wish I was closer to work with him and his docs...

Melissa - your post had me in goosebumps. thank you first of all, so much for sharing with us. that must have been such a hard thing for you to do. I feel for you so much. I hurt for the young girl that you were, and I hurt for all that you have gone through. Your life that was, and the way it has changed. you do write well - and I agree with Vicki in that you could write a book - I work in a bookstore and I know it would sell. But back to you. I believe that we are only sent what we can handle - I also believe that we are sent stuff for a reason, although it is hard to see that at the time. You are doing really well to have come as far as you have and I admire your going back to Greece when you really didn't want to. You are so lucky so have a mum that was so wonderful to be there for you. Please feel free to PM me anytime you want to - I also have Skype if you ever want to chat to me. It is on the right hand side of the page when I post. I am looking forward to hearing the rest of your story - I wish you had posted it all - it is like leaving us with a cliff hanger!!

Effie - Thank you so much for sharing your story. You are an amazing writer. And, a very strong woman. This is such a small world........I work in Santa Fe Springs probably a mile from where Powerine was. My husband used to work across the street!

RC - So sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope he's better right away.

Yard sale went ok. Made about $130.00 and that bought some groceries.

So, I'm happy about that.

I've been having bad knee/leg pain for the past couple of months. Just random pain for no apparent reason. If I sit too long, my knees start to ache. But, I was doing a lot of walking & bending today so, of course, my knees are really hurting tonight.

The kiddos are wound up right now. They are going home August 10. Their Grandmother (my ex sister-in-law) lives in Las Vegas and wants to see them. She wants me to meet her half way to drop them off to her for a week (a couple hour drive). Well, the kids don't want to go. I have talked to them several times about it. We are not going to force them to go. So, I'm trying to think of a nice way to say that they can't. Long story but a lot of family drama. I was thinking that I could just be honest and say that I didn't realize that she planned on them visiting so we already had a lot of plans in place and I wasn't able to rearrange them. Anybody have any suggestions. I do NOT want to cause a family rift.

Well - the kiddos are bickering so time to get them settled down.

Melissa..I admire your strength...I must go back and re-read it.......it was beautifully written, too. You are a rock...and doing so well.
I am become to addicted to Games of Thrones on HBO on Demand.....violent, but so good. I have a million things to do but cant pull myself away from the TV....

Good Morning Jan - sort of quiet here this morning isn't it? Hope things are okay for you? I slept in this morning for a little while and haven't done much since I got up so really need to start doing something - like cleaning! oh what fun.

Nora - I think your idea of saying you already had stuff arranged is a good one - simple, but easy - see what the others say? I agree that you don't want to be the one to cause problems, but if the children don't want to go, then I would hate to force them!

It is going to be a scorcher here today and I must get out and water - where is everyone else? look forward to seeing you all...
