Good morning All. Melissa thanks for sharing about your daughter. Getting her involved with sports and dance without extreme pressure can only help. As in everything we do the best we can and give the rest to God(imo). As for the example you are setting with alcohol, of course cleaning up would be better, but it does not always mean our children will follow our example no matter what we do. I could write more but at work. Hope you are having a nice evening and enjoying time with your daughter.

Fen you can come to my place but you must stay inside. The critters will get you outside but they don't seem to be able to catch a friggin mouse or mole inside--so it seems inside is safe. lol

Wow...good morning, friends. I feel so terrible for complaining and venting and worrying about my own problems after reading back. My stuff is nothing compared to what some of you are going thru or have gone thru. Effie, thank you so much for having the courage to post your story and I agree that it is such an inspiration. You are a blessing and I am sending you virtual hugs. Roger...I don't know what to say....I think maybe some of your posts have been deleted, but I think you are at a place where I am close to. Just know that I am praying for you too and somehow we will get thru this. You mean so very much to me and I have really missed talking to you. Everytime you have called me, you always knew how to cheer me up and give me strength to go on. You have made me laugh and cry and even though we don't talk on the phone anymore, I still keep in my heart our last conversation. Sunny-You are my sunshine, my only sunshine! We don't expect you to be cheery and chipper every day.....maybe it helps knowing that even you sometimes get down. So don't feel bad about that......but do try to keep your "pecker" up.:l
Ruby-sounds like you & Hubs had a very nice outing yesterday.....and what a touching story about your former tenants. I will keep her in my prayers too. Vicki-thank you for talking with me on Friday and praying for me. You are my rock. I hope you had a good weekend and that Paul is feeling better and is still AF. Fen-I've been trying to get rid of some peanuts but your cousins are afraid to come too close because of my dogs. Should I take the nuts out in the woods? Nora....I've been missing you too. I agree that your explanation to the kids' grandmother about already having plans for them sounds good and I understand about not wanting any conflicts. RC-how are you doing up there? You too are an inspiration, you know. I hope your business is improving.

I need to get some work done while I still have this job. Our doors may be closing sooner than I thought but in the meantime I will continue to do my best.

Hubs and I had a long conversation last night, and he's under a lot of pressure right now. Well, we both are, but somehow he manages to keep us afloat. You can't imagine the expenses and work our life takes, and I don't think complaining will get me anywhere. Besides, right now so many other really important things are going on with all of you, I feel absolutely silly gripeing. My MIL has been confiding in me she's really not feeling well, and I've been trying to be supportive of her, and encourage Hubs and all my family to spend time with her. She feels bad enough to go to the doc today, and had I known earlier, Hubs or I would be going with her. It's not like her; she's a powerhouse of work and energy, but she IS 84. I arranged to get her a disabled parking placard, offered to even pick it up for her, but she doesn't like to ask for help. I hope she's honest with the doc, and listens to him. I'll be at her next appointment, though, or Hubs or daughter will.
Nora, I will post a pic of Minny soon. She's really a cute little thing, a pygmy Nubian. They are funny to watch.

I hope you all are having a great day. Just got home from work, its 8.30 and I have been in the office since 8 this morning? No overtime here, just glad to still have a job and hating it?.Greece is in a real bad shape, but, I?ll talk about that another time.

Ringing, thank you for getting back to me with your input. I guess I?m exaggerating a bit and, well, I know I?m kind of overprotective with my daughter. But, my main concern is that I?ll never be able to manage correctly all the teenage hardships that are coming up, because of the fact that I have not set the best example, by drinking all these years. How will I be able to stand my ground and be the adult that I am, when I have let her down and given her the right to doubt me, so many times??? Respect is earned, not demanded, and I feel like a have completely failed her. Well, I would very much like to hear your opinion on that and everybody else?s here. I wish you strength and send you all my love dear. What you?re going through with your father is not easy and, like I said, although I don?t know the details, what you have posted is enough to make me realize that you are ONE STRONG LADY. And I love you!
