      RC, I'm just happy for the good things that have happened to you lately, the beautiful local pics you've posted, and that you're hanging on to your very good route (going out at night to meetings, meeting people, staying busy) and that people care enough about you there to come and shop there. Believe in yourself. You are a HUGE fountain of info, and always trying to help people. Worry about all your personal needs later. I'll post you plenty of salacious pics, OK? Good luck in the comp!
      BTW: When does it start to get cool there? There's a reason I'm asking. :hug:

          Hallo everybody! I feel AWESOME! Still got my cough/cold but I feel so good again - you know when you haven't been feeling well and then you feel better and you realise how lousy you were feeling? Well, that is me! Worked my tail off at work - really good day! Bugged everyone telling them how good I felt - better than complaining about how awful I felt - LOL

          Cindy - so good to see you posting here - stay with us for a while - we are here to help you and support you - we are a crazy bunch but good for support! Welcome!!

          rubes - loves the pics - so cute! RC - I so liked your sun behind the rainbow and the rain - so pretty. Oh - Rubes, that song was lovely too - and Grateful - I loved city of angels too - one of the rare movies that i have watched but I hated the ending!!!!

          Hi Effie !!! Do not envy you all the time you spend in airports in the slightest!! Hope you get home soon and can have a rest!

            Hi all
            Well I am exhausted hauling my kids around this week and it is costing me a fortune in gas...have an early night tonight kidwise but have a class discussion at 9 p.m. so still a late day. Read back a little but not really caught up. Trying to round up some students to make a little extra. Been raining so that is good...counting down till school starts the 8th!!..might be totally insane by then...b

                Hi, again, friends. Just wanted to let you all know that I talked with Vicki tonight and she can't post because she is in terrible pain with her hands and her fingers have all swelled up. She doesn't go to see the surgeon until August 15th, but I suggested she call her doctor tomorrow and try to get some pain medicine for now. She asked me to post and let you know what is going on with her and why she isn't here.

                I hope everyone has a wonderful, peaceful evening.

                  Bird - You are so busy all the time.....no wonder you're exhausted. Glad to hear from you though.

                  Has anyone heard from Swannie??

                  I downloaded a book - 'Alcohol: How to Give it Up and Be Glad You Did'. Looks like it might be interesting. Even if I get a few helpful tools from it, it'll be worth it. I haven't had a lot of time to read lately so I probably won't really get into it until after the kids go home. Only 2 more weeks and then they leave. :upset: I'm going to miss them like crazy but it'll be nice to have a little peace.

                    Vicki-sorry you're in so much discomfort. I agree you should go to a doctor--seems to me there shouldn't be that kind of swelling with carpel tunnel--maybe something else is going on with your kidneys? You could try Dandelion caps or tea. It's a natural diuretic yet high in potassium.

                    Ruby--not too many pics please--that's just teasing. I don't know when the temps will drop--who knows these days.

                    Fennel-the competition is a series of dressage, eventing(X country course) and something else(I forget). They place in each event and then an overall place. She often does quite well. There is a series of pics from her last X country course where the horse slides out in the muck. They go down together and she gets up checks the horse and mounts and completes the course and still placed(3rd I think). I wish I could get the pictures onto my FB but I don't know how.

                    I sat in on a webinar last night and when I got home I was just too tired to post again. I seem to need a lot of sleep lately. Hmmm

                        Good morning, everyone! I have to ask you all for your prayers and forgiveness. Last night, I had 2 strong drinks! Thankfully I stopped, so I'm not sick today, just feeling lousy about myself! I did manage to sleep all night. I just can't handle this constant pain. I'm having more pain in my fingers than my wrists! The fingers are so swelled, they feel as if they are going to burst! I've lived with pain before, but not like this. Please pray for me. I love you all and hope you have a good day. Love, Vicki

                              Hay I am here a little late but better then never right? Ho I still feel like crap this morning this better pass as I am on vacation next week and I don't want to feel like this for sure. Rog I have some forms for you so that you won't have to pay for them. They are the new consumer protection act papers that must be attached to each and every bid you put out there licensed or not. It is now a federal law and you don't want to know what happens if you get cought!!!
