What is it about this age that makes men so difficult to live with? In his mind, he hasn't done anything wrong, but again, do men ever?
Sorry to say, but I've had enough, of it all. I am not at fault for everything, have quit taking the blame. I've tried to be there for him, though he has not been supportive if me, but critical, through my problems. Really ready to throw him back out there, to the wolves and the gold-diggers. Sometimes it takes letting them do everything on their own to understand what they're missing. If not, I can do it by my self. Completely pissed off, right now. I'm so sorry I can't be uplifting. Just pissed. Off to make some more phone calls while I sort out my plans.

I am hunting down cheque stubs that I haven't been able to find since the move. I'm going to have to rip things apart this weekend. Hope they didn't get set in the garbage pile by accident. I may go out of town to meet a cousin Sun or Mon. She is from NS and will be there with her two sisters. I've only chatted on line with her and never met any of them. Dat's about it. Step back - can you get in your car and drive to the cabin? Just get in your car and drive anywhere - just get away from the situation. Take the dogs, your toothbrush, your meds and a couple of good books - your laptop and your phone so I can call later. Hang in there Ruby - I will be back later - just going in for a few hours. Thank you everyone. I don't really get angry often, but when I do, it all comes loose. I've done my best to get through a difficult day, collected nearly $2000, but he's still in a major snit. So I'm not going to do anything to placate him, this is his issue. I'm too old, too tired, to think this should go on when I have my own leverance in the balance. It's like dealing with a little boy again, and i AIN'T raising another child!
Quit worrying, friends. Just venting here on a menopausal man. I will be fine. But thank you for letting me have this venue to vent on!

Thank you, everyone, for your support while I pitched my hissy fit. I took one of my muscle relaxers last night, which I rarely do because they make me act like I've had a 6-pack, but I felt like every muscle in my body was so tight I couldn't close my eyelids. Hubs complains when I take them, and I certainly can see why but I was so tightly wound I thought the top of my head was coming off. Himself went out and bought me breakfast, and has apologized, sort of, is playing Mr. Nice. Again, thank you all.
Called my MIL and was just commenting on some family expenses, she asks 'Are you needing some money?' OMG!!! I reassured her over and over that this was just a conversation, not fishing for a handout.
This one's for someone who shall remain nameless (she probably will forget it anyway!).........
Three ladies were discussing the travails of getting older. One said, "Sometimes I catch myself with a jar of mayonnaise in my hand, while standing in front of the refrigerator, and I can't remember whether I need to put it away, or start making a sandwich."

The second lady chimed in with, "Yes, sometimes I find myself on the landing of the stairs and can't remember whether I was on my way up or on my way down."

The third one responded, " Well, ladies, I'm glad I don't have that problem. Knock on wood," as she rapped her knuckles on the table, and then said, "That must be the door, I'll get it!"

Great for him because we have a 25th Wedding Anniversary party to go to today. It's my brother-in-laws....and the 2 cousins he went to the beach with him......father.
