    Love new bedlinen too.

No great plans for me. I have the 'flu and have spent a good part of the day in bed. Sent Mr Rags out this morning to bet Tom Rob Smiths' second book "The Secret Speech" But you have to read "Child 44" first. Set in the lare Stalin and early Krushchev era it's about a cop. One of those books you have to keep reading ........ till 3:00 am!!

Sorry, misinformation. It's the second part of series 4. They had a big break for some unknown reason.

Series 5 starts in the USA Sept 2011.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

            Army thread 1st July

Had an odd moment the other day which I could have handled better. I was out drinking (my weekly binge… or should that be WEAKly binge. A girl came along to pick up hubby and had a glass of red wine. She was about to start her 2nd and I noticed it was a pretty big glass suggested she shouldn’t have it. She was adamant that she was ok with it… so off I trot to the bar to check the glass size. It was bottled stuff 187ml at 13.5% which in my reckoning is at least 5 units. She was driving 2 children and she relies on the car for work. Shes not a big drinker and not a big girl. Needless to say I kept wittering on about how she could lose her licence…. Blah blah blah. The outcome was her storming off leaving the drink, saying she was not gonna be lectured by a drunk. (she knows my problems and her hubby is a big time alki). For all my sins, drink driving is something I feel strongly about and have been known to take car keys of people to stop them driving. I wonder how I should have handled this better. I had to say something but no doubt as I had had a drink I was more vocal than I should have been.

Thats easy, stay sober. Lots of crap going on at the moment but cant let that derail my efforts.

                      Army thread 1st July

hey everybody - what a night! since heading off yesterday afternoon the police have caught up with my brother, he's had a row with them, me and his girlfriend tried to calm him down and were basically treated like dirt for our efforts, my brother was then taken to the cells at a police station a good hours drive away and left there over night so I had to get myself up bright and early this morning and do my 'responsible adult' bit, ended up waiting at the police station for well over an hour before they'd even speak to me, finally got it all sorted about 1pm and have now been home about an hour and a half. Totally exhuasted, had about 5 hours sleep and alot of wine (I know, bad inchy) but thankfully interview only got my brother charged with posession of a class B drug - not intent to supply. Court appearance is in just over 2 weeks... I'll keep ye posted xD

Tips: good luck with your niece's visit

Everybody else: have a nice day

I have faced it, a life wasted, and I am never going back there again

To ya'll my name is inchy. I am an alcoholic - and priority number one is making it to the end of this day AF. No excuses.

Shite, Inchy: I hope your brother gets himself sorted. :l

So far so good with niece's visit: turns out the youngest cub is now taller than she is, so she feels a sense of superiority :H

Hiya Zennie - be good to yourself :l

                        How's everyone else doing?

I've been lurking all day, done sweet FA today, I sort of lurked from the desk top over to the lap top. Oh and I had to lurk with me eyes shut for a bit trying out the new pillow.

BTW my 13 year old niece is taller than me.
