I second what Mr tips said there JC.

As for the tennis, I find it quite hard to take my eyes off Maria Sharapova for some reason . Being deaf does have its advantages sometimes. Does she grunt?

    Afternoon Mr T.

Having a lovely day sunny and warm.

Race was a bit hot a few people asked me what my secret was as my times have improved massively over the last year. I bravely said it was giving up the booze. Not training with a hangover and not running a race with one. They looked stunned.
I feel like I have "COME OUT"

Hope you are all having a good Sunday and thunderstorms not ruining your day.

              :hallo: again, Army

I've decided the roast beef dinner I had planned can wait until tomorrow. The family will have to settle for breadrolls and whatever they wish to put in them. The week ahead is going to be tough enough as it is.

Good for you Mrs. A. You are indeed a winner.

No thunderstorms here - a lovely warm day with a cool breeze. Perfection.

BTW - I re-read that recipe I posted for you for the stuffed tomatoes and it seems I made a mistake. I wrote that you should cut up 8 medium sized tomatoes in the pan with the stuffed tomatoes and what I meant was potatoes. You cut potatoes up and put them in the pan and cook them with the tomatoes. Otherwise it would be tomatoes and tomatoes... I'm planning to make stuffed peppers this week using the same recipe but I've thought of a shortcut. Instead of using fresh tomato pulp which takes a while to scoop out the tomatoes and grate them, I'm going to try canned, peeled chopped tomatoes and see how that turns out. Mr. Stirly only eats stuffed peppers so I'm going to try the canned tomatoes as an easier alternative.

X-post Tipster. Sounds like a good plan. Let them fend for themselves as far as the food goes and give yourself a break. What's coming up this week?

My boss is away (on holiday, the lucky fecker). Unfortuantely, that does not mean the mice can play - it adds significantly to my workload.

I used to work at at cable TV station here in Athens. I was in charge of the Sales and Customer Service Dept. for 2-1/2 years. We had a couple of young kids that were quite unruly whenever the General Manager was away. I practically had to slap them upside the head to get them to calm down. It was very disruptive to the rest of the salespersons since seven of us worked together in one office doing telephone sales. You can imagine what it was like trying to talk on the phone to a potential customer with two others talking loudly over your head. Little feckers, I finally got them to quit by making them always work the early morning shift. Not much fun after a late night out. I can be such a :biatch: :H:H:H

Mrs. A - wot do you mean by assembling it? Writing down all the ingredients or actually starting to make the dish??

Oh, that is so neat. I didn't ever think that you would try it so soon. Best of luck. It's one of my favourite Greek foods. inkele: Cheese, especially feta-type or a piquant cheese is a great addition to the dish. As is grilled rustic bread. (I'm going to get accused of talking too much about food again....):new:
