Feck it: my pesky crown came loose again this arvo. At least it means I can get up later tomorrow morning - I'm going to stage a sit-in at the dentist until he fixes me up again.
    I'll do whatever it takes

Expatty, just read back hun. I know you'll be on the phone at the moment, I went and checked what time it is in Paris. But we're here if you need us.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Now tell me what this crowning involves as I start treatment for on on me me back tooth.

        Does it hurt?

Nah... it doesn't hurt one little bit. Some discomfort, but that's about it. The root canal that precedes it is the worst part.

I am open to others discussions and problems too-though I may need to take pug dog for a poo walk in a few minutes. I'll definitely be close to the computer tonight-the shit has hit the fan.Expat - sorry to hear about your boy. Is he being sent home or asking to be allowed to go home or demanding that he go home? Some kids have trouble adjusting the first couple of times they're away from their families. Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well and that he will end up wanting to stay or they'll end up agreeing to let him stay - whatever is best for him of course.

I have loads of classes planned and if he gets sent home--my boss will kill me. I've only had a few days freedom and have been working loads to save money for August. I just don't know what I'm going to do.:l:l

It was kinda crappy. Things weren't going my way. But hey! Tomorrow is another day, innit?

Have you heard from the camp yet? Sorry to hear about that :l
Tomorrow is always another day Tipster and I hope yours is better than today...

I've had the same crown come off twice. Once while eating a fecking cheese sandwich. A friend says it may be the way I chew and I "torque" it off. So I try to be very careful and mostly chew on the other side. Not the best of solutions but what can you do....

JC - lovely that you're getting "crowned"...

Zennie - good to see you sounding perky!!

                          Evening Army:l
It was quiet earlier (panno we did have a chat! :l) but I still felt all of your support . "Love child" is still at camp!! But they will give me a ring on Friday to tell me how
he is doing. And if it 's not going well--I'll have to collect him at the weekend. And it is not a case of spare the rod and spoil the child. He is a good boy but a bit ADD. OK-VERY ADD. I am still trying to absorb the fact that the camp had to ring me. His sister was so different-this is a new challange. I think there was a thread on AF daily where a few members have kids that are ADD or Asperger's. I must try to look those threads up. But I am thinking positive thoughts-my son is a beautiful and wonderful little lad-maybe a bit "different" but very intelligent.
                          And a note!!!
It is not just people who have had a drinking problem who have children with "special needs". Though it can lead them to drink out of frustration. I am getting help from here plus communities that help parents of children with learning disorders. Usually try to save all this for my other group -but I like to share with the Army so you know what is going on in expat world.

Ever had a root canal done before? They're frigging freaky AND they take a few sessions to get them done. Then he'll start filing down the tooth to make it into a little "post" to stick the crown onto. Only then will you be a true queen....
