JC: my MIL is known as the local "Biryani Queen" - she has even given live demonstrations at local events. Hence I have been completely intimidated and have never tried to make one myself. My absolute favourite is lamb. Chicken is also fabby, but I don't like seafood / fish all that much.

She would probably drop to the floor in a dead faint, if she saw the slimming world recipe that I used for the Biryani, not one teeny weeny bit of any fat at all in it.

Well me biryani was to die for, if I say so meself. Ooh and the butternut squash curry to go with it was an eye opener, never been a big fan of butternut squash. I'm now a convert.

JC? any chance you can send that butternut squash curry Rag's way for the Undies cookbook? We love it - butternut - and just would like to see what it would be like... Please?

Morning Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday. Looks thunderstormy this morning here in Philly - very dark out and my sweet yet neurotic doggie is pacing the floor lol . I looked at my calendar and saw NOTHING planned for the weekend...which most likely means I forgot to put something on the calendar, but ignorance is bliss sometimes.
