      He's coming back next Sunday evening. And then we'll have a school friend of his staying over for 10 days. The latter's mom is off to Europe for a bit. Now THAT is going to be torture.

                  No news and I need him here soon for sanity. Some of my friends here need to get a grip. I invited my friend to dinner last sat and she said yes and then she forgot and when someone asked her if she was coming said how she hadn't been invited and felt like no one would have brought it up again and asked again! It is fucking ridiculous! Argh!!!! If I ask you out to dinner, it's because I want you there. I won't ask u eighty times to come. If you say yes, I will assume it's on. Is that unreasonable.

                      hi there Zenners - my fatih in the medical system has dropped below already low level. The dr who saw me the day of the accident rang last night to see if I was okay as it appears I had a punctured lung.

                          You make a lot of good points Zennie! Hadn't thought of it like that before? Yeah, I fess I just assumed that as I was brought up here it wouldn't be a culture shock but it totally is. And most of the time it's in a good way but this whole palava! It's just nonsense.

                                I'm going for another xray on Monday - it was uncanny as I went and picked up my records from the hospital yesterday for the cops and when I read through it I thought shite that sounds like a punctured lung, then sure enough the dr phoned that night.

                                He wasn't terribly worried as I was still alive
