Don't know how many days (stopped counting because it becomes too obsessive for me) but I don't drink period. It will be four months on July 17th. What an awesome new way of living! No more giving in to the devil.

Just got back from my first AF concert for as long as I can remember.....amazingly I didnt even have an urge to drink at all. My wife asked if I wanted to share a beer........uhhhhmmm what?

Guess Im no fun at concerts now

I did see some fooooooooked up people, one in particular was "moshing" to ACDC in front of us.......stopped for a second, looked at the ground, and proceeded to projectile vomit right there for us to see! And the other "AL zombies" were walking around barefoot, right through the puddle........LMAO Man I miss drinking

I have finally seen what it looks like from the other side, me sober, and others drunk, its just not a pretty picture

Always a great reality check! I'll add gratitude for how your own head and stomach don't feel the next morning - plus not smelling someone else's puke on your feet. Yuck!

I should clarify, it was a cover band of ACDC, but I gotta admit, the singer "sounded" vocally like Brian Johnson, but did not look like him.

The Guitar guy pulled off an almost flawless Angus Young, even did the floor spin/playing guitar........LOL


Moshing is that out of your mind, epileptic convulsion like, flailing around, looking like your finger is stuck in a light socket dancing, I sat that one out

I am shouting out this Sunday. Went to a party last night, it was a very late night and I am happy to say I did it sober. I didn’t know anyone going into the party so normally I would have had a couple of drinks beforehand just to take the edge off…….which of course would mean that by the end of the night I’d be the one everyone would politely be referring to as the one that ‘knows how to party’. They are probably still referring to me like that this morning but for all the right reasons. Just counted the number of days I am AL free…….230!

It’s a great day today!
