    Where have you traveled?

Or where would you like to go one day?

When I was childless...I made New Year's resolutions that I would see at least 5 new places every year. With children....one.

I would love to hear where people have been, want to go and favorite places. I plan to keep traveling and increasing the trips as the kiddos get older.

Single I've been to Mexico (Yucatan) 4 times, Australia, Bonaire, Bahamas, cruise with a girlfriend to the Bahamas.

With kids we joined the Disney Vacation Club and went on their cruise to the Bahamas and we've been to Niagra Falls (which I love and could there a million times). Places with water are very attractive to me. Especially if the water color is a blueish green.

      Where have you traveled?

One of my favorite topics NP!

Every state in the United States, except Alaska and Rhode Island.

Canada, several provinces. Mexico: Cancun, and just south of the border a few times.

Switzerland, twice. Italy, Austria, Germany. Been inside the Vatican.

On the list for the future. Australia, England,Scotland, Ireland, France, Amsterdam, Spain, Greece.

Would like to see the pyramids, and the Sphinx. Walk on the Great Wall of China.

Rio and Sao Paulo in Brazil. Machu Pichu over on the other side of SA.

I can visit all these places in virtual reality with my flight simulator, and I can get a real feel for the lay of
the land that way. Always nice to know what you want to see before you get there!

Holy cow Neil I thought I had been to places. What was your favorite state, your favorite attraction?

I would love to see the Pyramids, go to the Caymans or anywhere I can scuba dive. I am certified but haven't been in quite awhile. I loved diving in Mexico it was incredible. I also would love to see Alaska and Hawaii.
Have you been to Turkey? One of our friends from NZ says that 's the best place on Earth.

          Wow Neil...You get around..

NP...The cliff diving in Mexico sounds brilliant...I did some in Cyprus...When i was a teenager with some friends...We all had had a few drinks on night and decided to do it at night time....We knew the sea was ther but you couldnt see anything till you hit the water...Just jumping into darkness...Really stupid and really dangerous....But a brilliant memory..

            Where have you traveled?

In the U.S., I love fly-fishing the high (over 9000 ft.) Rocky Mountain trout streams of Colorado.

The mountain passes of the Grand Tetons awesome. Blasting a power boat over Lake Powell in Utah, just letting it all hang out. The peaceful and lazy lounging at waters edge of the Florida Panhandle beaches. The surreal paradise of Maui. The absolute open space freedom of Montana. Ripping through the Nevada desert at night, over 100 mph without a care in the world, with the lights of Vegas in the distance. Standing at the edges of Meteor Crater, and the Grand Canyon of Arizona. The little water falls of the Black Hills of South Dakota. I could go on, and on, and on. Not much of one for the cities in the U.S. I'm afraid.

            It's all been good.

Never been to Turkey. Switzerland in the early hours of the winter, when the sun is rising over the Alps will blow you away. Rome gives a sense of history of man like no other place on earth I think. So many places to go, and things to see, and only one lifetime. Lord, let me be retired soon, .........and rich!!

              Where have you traveled?

              Oh, BTW Mackeral.

Graceland, is less than two hour drive from my place. Been by there many times.

              Mecca for the Elvis disciple.

I once stood behind Carl Perkins in a grocery store. He was leaning on his shopping cart, waiting in line like the rest of us. That was almost 20 years ago now, back before I moved out to the boonies.

                  Where have you traveled?

I LOVE to travel and am getting the itch to plan a vacation soon. Did a whole lot more of it BMK (before marriage and kids). Went to Europe through the People to People program in high school and saw England, Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Czechoslavakia when it was behind the Iron Curtain. I went to New Zealand and Australia shortly after I got my 1st "real" job. Tent traveled thru most of the Western States. Visited DC, NY, MA and HI. Would love to travel thru Greece, Egypt, Italy (to see where my ancestors came from) and Spain.

Love this topic. I also love being home and love to travel so have a bit of a conflict- welcome to my life. I live in California USA and have been throughout USA and CA is in my blood. Cannot imagine living anywhere outside of CA. Outside of USA I have traveled to:

                    Canada
                    Mexico- Puerto Vallarta 4x
France- Paris and surrouding countryside 2x
England- London and surrounding countryside 2x
Italy- Rome, Florence and surrounding countrysides 2x
                    Bajamas-2x
Hawaii is USA but feels different. Been to Maui 2x and the diving is excellent!

I have lived in the USA, England and France. I've been to Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Germany, Yugoslavia (when that's what it was), Hungary, Turkey, Sweden, Norway, Russia, Belgium, The Netherlands, Canada, Iceland, Tunisia, Morocco, Mexico (barely), Greece, China, Hong Kong.

Love China and would move there if I had the chance. Would like to visit Australia, New Zealand, Central and South America as well as explore the USA more. Really, I'd go anywhere.

                        Where have you traveled?

I have been to Graceland. Missed a flight and was stuck in Memphis for 3 hours so we took a cab to see the King's digs. Was worth the trip although I expected the mansion to be much bigger. Have traveled throughout Alaska, been to Hawaii, South Korea, Japan, Germany, and England. Most of the lower 48 states and I have to say I love ALaska the best but my native New Orleans is also an awesome place. Or at least it was and I hope it can make its way back!

                          Where have you traveled?

I have been to Spain x5, Greece and Egypt, which as you can imagine was awesome. We did the cruise down the Nile. I remember when we visited Luxor we spent three hours going round the massive temple, soaking in the atmosphere. When we walked out, the first thing that caught my eye MacDonald's ubiquitous 'Golden Arches'. Surreal!!! When I was very young I was in Singapore with my parents...an RAF posting, but I can't remember that.

I have never seen the Pacific, so that's one ambition. Next October is our 25th wedding anniversary and we were planning to go to Australia for that, but it looks like that might be too ambitious....we're still saving though...who knows?
I'd also love to see China, New Zealand and the South Pacific. I have a fantasy regarding both the poles and the Himalayas. I've done the tourist stuff with the kids so now that they are grown up, I fancy a little adventure.
Oh....I want to go to the moon.

                            Where have you traveled?

This is a great topic. Of course, I feel as though I've traveled when I come here. I've been around the states, to Canada and Mexico, and to most of western Europe, to Japan and Hong Kong. I want to go to Shanghai, Turkey, and India. I also wish we could have big MWO gathering in some relaxing place where everyone could talk and talk.

my list is way toooooo long to type. LOL

but i would like to add......Macs.....SKIP graceland.....i lived there for 30 years. I was there when Elvis died. They have turned his beautiful estate into one big tourist trap and it ain't cheap.
Memphis (where Graceland is) is not what it used to be. Sorry to disappoint you.....I would like to see you spend your $$$ elsewhere.
