No..but I remember going to see a friend at their home with my daughter when she was little. The chum lived in a rented place, and we were all sitting in the front room when Steph came in and asked who the dog belonged to. "What dog," I said..."the black and white dog I just see'd in the kitchen" came the irritated reply.....I looked at Jon, my chum, who just sat, a slightly ashen color, with his mouth hanging open like a beached cod....
Steph trotted off again, and Jon leaned over to me and explained, with a tremor in his voice, that the house had recently become a rental after the woman who lived there had died, her dog, a collie, (black and white fr the information of those who have only ever owned goldfish) had also died as he sat with her until they were found a few weeks later..................(twilight zone music please dj....)

I've never seen a ghost, but I definitely felt my father's presence in the week after he died, hanging around our family home. He died in June, and it was warm and balmy. I would sit in the backyard, and I felt him there with me, offering comfort, telling me that he was okay.
I went back to my own life, and grieving, after a week. The next time I returned to my parents' home, he was gone.
I live in an area that is surrounded with civil war battlefields. One of my friends has what seems to be a small grave on her 4-acre property. She has had a number of eerie experiences and won't go out on the property without her husband between dusk and dawn.AF as of August 5th, 2012

Hello All.
I've never actually seen a ghost, but I think that I have heard and smelled one.
DD..the thing that got me thinking about it .....I was talking to my daughter and I mentioned that I had been 'talking' to my mum. She died a few years ago and I sometimes feel her around. Anyway my daughter said that she too had been thinking about her and that often when she is lifting her baby from her crib, she can smell her granny, as if she is looking in. Do you know what I mean? My mother was a very strong personality. She was totally addicted to her children and grand-children....and alcohol. She did nothing by halves. Ithink that's where I get some of my addictiveness from.
God, I'm rambling again.
Love
