    How low can we go?

Hi Cindi, have only just seen your post. I can feel the pain, you are such a caring person, I do so hope that you find your way out.
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

      How low can we go?

Cinders, I want you to know that you helped save my sister by sharing your recent experience at rehab with us. She went in kicking and screaming and came out the wonderful, lovely woman she used to be. I will always cherish you for this. xo

        How low can we go?

Hi Cinders, I have caused mishaps and humiliations endlessly. I got sick and tired of being sick and tired. I downloaded the AA 12 step worksheets and are working through them, at step 4 now and I really see/feel results.

I hope you can find help there too. I went to a rehab a couple of years ago but started drinking almost immediately. Maybe I just wan't ready.

          Hi Cinders,

I wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you. You can do this Cinders, somehow.

And it's really nice to see you back here, I hope it helps you.

            struggline

            Hi Cindy
It sounds like you are still struggling so much.

Last time you wrote you were trying naltrexone. What happened with that?
Have you ever tried Vivitrol, the monthly shot of naltrexone?

I can't remember reading about you trying that but maybe I missed it.
It's also possible to get implants of naltrexone that last three months.

              How low can we go?

I knew what would happen if I quit my $100K plus job. Hubby would jetison me and that is exactly what has happened.

He threw me down on the floor this morning and told me to get out of his "room."

It is kind of good to know what I was wanted for. Now, I can just look at myself and be good to me.

Oh Cinders I hope that you can get away from him ASAP. It is time to focus on you. You are not a symbol of how much money you make but instead what kind of impact you can make on other people. From what I see hear you are priceless!!!! Please call on your friends here to help you get thru this. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers today. Don't let anyone mistreat you like that!

Cinders--Red is bang on. You obviously have enough money to get out now. Please do that. Probably not wise to go somewhere by yourself right now. Friends, family or even a healthy spa retreat?:l

                      How low can we go?

I have just purchased tickets to my folks. I do not want to put them through this but I have to.

Hubby can just chuck it all out the window.

I must find another job but one that I am doing for myself and not my husband/children.

Today, I am free. I have never been there before. I got married when I was 18 and stayed that way until today. 54 years old. Not pretty but beautiful.

                      Working hard on being sober.

                      Love,
                      Cindi

Cindi, maybe I could have told you what I saw from the outside, but you have to go through it yourself, don't you. Get out, start over. It's never too late. I'm here if you need me, and we have so much in common. Don't think parents who raised a wonderful person like you don't have some inkling about what's going on. We pray our children will do well, but we watch as sometimes they don't. But they're always our children. Please call me.

Cindi, I think you will fare a better chance at sobriety outside of your marriage. Remember the advice you gave me 3 years ago? Back at ya. :h
