Today my family lost my brother and his girlfriends unborn child - she went for a scan and chose to abort without speaking to my brother or allowing him to be there. We, as a family, have named the child Francis as it was too early for it to have a gender. If anybody ehre wishes to keep the child in their thougths or prayers, then we would appreciate it. Last time I mentioned this many fo you told me not to worry about my brother - and though I do continue to worry about him, I worry more for the unborn baby that lost its life so needlessly.

We also found today that the land to the rear of my home is to become host to a new housing development, destroying what was once, and should still be a conservation area, nto to mention the peace a tranquilty of my garden.

How very sad for your family.

But I know for a fact this wasn't an easy decision for her to make. I sat with a cousin who had to make this awful decision and believe you me it wasn't a decision she took lightly.

I am neither condoning nor condemning your brother's girlfriends decision as it was hers and hers alone to make.

Once again I'll say how very, very sad for all of you.
