To be fair...I'm quite short so plants that are taller than me is not really that surprising!!!
    ...peace and quiet....and a cup of tea.....heaven:h

well, I had several hours sleep this morning on the sofa with a duvet to keep me warm and when I woke up my shirt and jeans were absolutely soaked through with perspiration. Is the perspiration thing some kind of AL withdrawal symptom or something cos it seems to be happening to me an awful lot lately?

Anyway, I'm now in need of a bath, only to discover that the water supply to the village has been cut off owing to a burst water main! :upset:
yo Reccybear, I used to sweat like a horse (sorry not very lady like I know) when I was going through withdrawal.

I'll run you a bath, Reccy. Do you want the Mr Matey bubbles as usual or just the M ans S peach blossom as a treat.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

We've got leftover curry from last night. I'm at a bit of loose end cos I don't have to cook anything more taxing than a poached egg.

        :goodjob: on friggintesco.

            The tooth's just fine.......touch wood.

The owner of the practice did the treatment yesterday. He was lovely not in :h way like my usual dentist. I don't know what it is about that practice but they are all absolutely lovely.

Can't believe me luck that it's mbeing mostly covered by the NHS either

Ooooooooh in the waiting room yesterday there was this much older man ( a right greaser) and with his Thai bride. She couldn't have been more than 25 if she was a day.

hey all, happy sunday cheering on MrsA - anybody hears how she does let me know

Having a pretty relaxing day, spending alot of time with my mum trying to cheer her up, she seems to enjoy having company even if it does mean my art project has been on hold for about 3 weeks now xD Cant wait for tomorrow - is it just me or does starting a new month tend to clear away some of the sh*te of the previous one?

Hope ya'll are enjoying your tv/sport days - not a sports fan here except maybe a bit of boxing and rugby (only internationals though, can't be bothered to follow a team xD) anywhooo

Been looking at the website for the San Fran half marathon. Mrs A finished 5th in her age category out of 42 entries. Well done Mrs A!

Edit: post edited to preserve Mrs A's anonymity after I received a gentle bollocking from a certain nameless lady in Greece!

 Hiya Reccie and to anyone else who might be :sofa:. I hope it was gentle. I wrote it very fast and I'm not always as subtle as I should be when in a hurry. How are you? Took a quick peek back over the posts. Have you got your water back on again? I must admit, it's much worse than not having electricity IMHO. I mean, you can't flush the loo, either with the toilet cap up or down....:H

Oh, and way to go Mrs. A. YOU ROCK!!!

And Hiya Inchy - almost missed you there!!

With that red-hot skirt, those hot legs, the super hair-do and the winkey eyes, that looks more like a dance you should do for Mr. JC...:H:H

Oh, and I'm off to walk the dogger...

I'm doing ok thanks, how's things with yourself?

Water is back on and I've had a bath so I'm sweet-smelling again! Not very keen on losing the electricity either TBH cos it means I can't get my fix of MWO. :upset:

He's watching athletics on the TV and playing snooker on the lappy. I could dance nekkid in front of him and he wouldn't notice.
