Seriously though, g - would be very interested in you comments on the currency exchange. It's a bit hard to know what to think when the only people that one hears comment publicly are bank economists. I mistrust them inherently, but it is hard to find another source of information.

Missy, i am no economist, and not particularly interested in economics, though with currency trading, it pays to have an inkling of where currencies are likely to travel, e.g. up or down, so i keep abreast of related news. With the foreign exchange market, you trade the up trend, and downward trend, so either way, whether a currency (country's economy) is weak or strong, an experienced trader can make money riding the 'wave's' or trends, up or down. For me, i just trade what i see in front of me on the charts, and try to pick the most likely way price will travel. (up, down, sideways) When currencies rise or fall, it doesn't matter to a currency trader. You can still make money. The more volatile the better some might say, but it is a dangerous business, and folks can lose a packet in a millesecond, so education is crucial. As for the stock market, and shares etc, i don't trade that market. It's a bit different. As for my personal impressions on market economics/directions, i won't venture an opinion, because i am just a boofhead muso from Melbourne.

Does any of that answer your question?

No, but it is all a complete mystery to me anyway!

So much skullduggery and smoke and mirrors from the major banks and financial movers and shaker's. Crooks, all of them.
