Actually....entertaining story....I sowed them all in neatly OCD-esque marked nursery flats.....a massive wind came up...mashed em all to smithereens...they germinated in a mad mish mash....now I have to identify exactly WTF I've got....:H...Back to the botany notes methinks:HIf your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Bridge - OK - I'll see your entertaining story and raise you one.
Remember when I got flooded back in January and dug this huge channel and installed a drainage trough to go into a big sump? Submersible pump was bought and installed in the sump? The idea was that as the sump filled, the pump would automatically kick in and suck and redirect the water. Well ... last Tuesday night I went to bed, unawares of any untoward weather. So - woke up at around 4am, turned on bedside lamp and noticed some shimmering stuff on the floor. WTF? Yep. Water was pissing in the front door and slowly channeling it's way towards the back door. I'd had a shit-load of rain during the night. While I was sleeping. Sooooo ...
At 4am there's not much you can do other than question your life.
I waited for daybreak to check what went wrong. Channel drain was overflowing. Sump was overflowing. Outlet hose was correctly placed. Pump was securely located in said sump. Pump lead was securely plugged into power point.
Oh. I see.
You have to switch the lead to the "On" position.
And with that little flick of a switch .... I regained control of ... sanity? Not sure. But water stopped flowing 'neath the gorgeous futon and drained away into the paddock.
That worked for me.

In other news ... my lovely young niece did the 40hr famine thing and did NOT eat a skerrick (sp?) of tucker for the whole 40 hours. No cheating. I sponsored her handsomely. My sister commited to not swear for 40 hrs. How long do you think that lasted?
Middle locust finished 40 hr famine and had a large pizza followed by left over lamb sausos and veges and hasnt really stopped eating and finished on satay beef and veges and rice. I really dont know where they put it all.
Little one has just started walking again. Dont ask....I hope he chooses doing without food next time but he's that skinny it would probably hospitalise him. Good on your niece and good on you for sponsoring her.

Morning undies
Had only a semi-productive weekend without Mr B. And feeling a bit pissed off with myself for it to be honest. I needed to catch up on some work, but was feeling resentful about doing it on the weekend and couldn't lose the feeling. Ah well, today is another day!
TF that story is amazing :H:H
Happy, glad your littlest locust is walking again!! Its great that you let them make decisions for themselves! And yes, beautiful pup!!
Right, I'm offski and into the dayski. Have a good one all!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Morning Y'all,
MB You are into it early. Way to go.
Had not a great nights sleep. Every one of the 3 movies I watched yesterday ended up being a depressing sort. Probably didn't help. SO back into it today. Have a 10 hour day. Plus I got a call yesterday saying $130 was missing. I don't understand it. Will have to make heads roll, but can admit the boy that told me can't count beans to save his life.
Have a wonderful day Undies. xo
