If I happened to be in Carrbridge and that was on, I'd probably go to it.
Does this make me a boring old fart?

Would I wear fishnets with my Blunnies? Or play safe and stick with the Icebreaker socks? Should I wear the dress ones or the steelcaps?

Remember when I got flooded back in January and dug this huge channel and installed a drainage trough to go into a big sump? Submersible pump was bought and installed in the sump? The idea was that as the sump filled, the pump would automatically kick in and suck and redirect the water. Well ... last Tuesday night I went to bed, unawares of any untoward weather. So - woke up at around 4am, turned on bedside lamp and noticed some shimmering stuff on the floor. WTF? Yep. Water was pissing in the front door and slowly channeling it's way towards the back door. I'd had a shit-load of rain during the night. While I was sleeping. Sooooo ...
At 4am there's not much you can do other than question your life.
I waited for daybreak to check what went wrong. Channel drain was overflowing. Sump was overflowing. Outlet hose was correctly placed. Pump was securely located in said sump. Pump lead was securely plugged into power point.
Oh. I see.
You have to switch the lead to the "On" position.
And with that little flick of a switch .... I regained control of ... sanity? Not sure. But water stopped flowing 'neath the gorgeous futon and drained away into the paddock.
That worked for me.
You must have shocking drainage. Can you dig some swales? hard work though.

Now I am not a huge love of airplanes since I have now watched almost every Air Crash Investigation episode. And sure I loved flying with four cocktails under my belt. The last 3 flights I have had have been AF. Every time it is a struggle. Anyone have any advice? Please, any advice. I am a Sook. I only made it to the USA from Oz last time because I popped prescription sleeping pills that were not mine before we even took off. Not an option on such a short flight.

Sunny, how is the throat?
Happy, How are you going with Photobucket? If I can use it, anyone can.
OK UNDIES.
While I am sorting out the recipe book, I have another quest for those who wish to have fame. (Sorry, fortune doesn’t go with this one.)
DIDUKNOW that when I googled “100 uses for a spurtle…” the computer blew a fuse and the house blacked out.
I am now fully recovered, but that set me to thinking…. Let us Undies write a book to go with the Undies recipes (honest, I will get it done) and we can call it…
“100 uses for a Spurtle.”
I was thinking that for number one could be ... stirring porridge.
Only 99 to go....
