Just returned from another grueling day at Tick Hollow. Removed drywall and insulation, tried to smooth over and fill in sunken earth from the trench for the plumbing...etc. Despite my best efforts, Mrs. Fen once again dragged her feet in the leaving process and I have a putrid pile of detritus in the back of the Fennel-mobile. I informed her on the way home that I will not be returning to Tick Hollow this week as the heat and humidity are not going to abate at all.
So, to borrow a term from Sun, Mrs. Fen will have to be at Tick Hollow at the "crack of sparrow fart" on Thursday to meet up with the handy-men. I will be home luxuriating in bed.
Oh...I appreciate your comment concerning my writing skills, Mama. I have always wanted to be a writer. :hComment

Oh, the vet finally called me with the lab results for my cats. Both are doing well...even the one with kidney disease...her creatinine has dropped since January!
