Good Morning Jammers! I figured if I didn't wipe up the dance floor more people would post. I feel like that sometimes too Ruby.
I had a wonderful weekend. Went to the dump yesterday-it was closed--sign says-Holidays 9 to 5:30! grrr So I headed to the cottage again. Didn't do squat with the books, but I have a plan. My friend(more like a neice-I babysat her as a child--she's now 38) is going to come in this week and help me collect the information I need as I still can't find those stubs.
Nice to you SSH and new faces too. Yes, Miss Effie, where are yooooooooooooo and all other MIA's?

I is here, here I is. When Hubs came in at 5 PM yest, I told him I was going to lie down on the sofa and take a quick nap. He insisted I go to the bedroom and stay till I was rested, then he turn of that phone and closed the door after I fell asleep. The phone woke me at 9 AM. Wow! I had so many things planned to do, but he even cleaned the kitchen!
He called at 9 to tell me HE had gotten a text (can you believe it?) from my bro saying my Aunt Nora died last night. I mourned her over a year ago, when Alzeihmers took the last of the woman I had grown up with. Today I'll make the calls to my Daddy's sister for the arrangements, and spend time with Daddy's family over the next days. I'll even see my 2 cousins I haven't seen in decades, so that will be good. She was married to my Daddy's older brother, and from Nova Scotia, Canada, a very odd little duck in our dirt road Georgia family!
Fen, I don't envy that work. We're doing it all (again) on a rental, so I feel for you, sister! We DO have the AC on there, tho! The work will go better for you in the fall, and all be worth it. I informed Hubs that once his outtages start, I will be spending much more time at the cabin.

Sun, my garden's been taking a back seat to everything right now. (not complaining, just my life). I'm very interested in your recipes. Like I said, I know you must be a great cook.
SWANNIE!!! I've worried about you, and am ashamed to say have not done enough to reach out to you. Please, don't leave us for so long, and why don't you just prepay for your internet so you won't have the money for the AL? Sometimes we have to trick ourselves.
Nora, I hope you're taking care of you. You, as much as anyone, need a long, uninterrupted break. Several of us do. I really wish it was possible for us all to get together for a while, leave everything else behind. A dream, huh?
I'm betting Melissa is in some place that would be great to visit on vacation, but terrible to do business in. Island hopping in Greece sounds like a dream to most, but we've learned it's also a nightmare.

Oh, thank you, Ruby. I am feeling so much better just looking at those pics. I am feeling good these days and am thankful. I can only do so much, take so much and just try my best. I'm really sorry about your Aunt, bless her heart. And I am really happy that you finally got some much needed sleep!

RC, I just LOVE the way you're sounding these days. Something stuck with me about your day out with friends, when you said you drank a few drinks, drove home sober later in the evening. That's normal, darlin'! It's when we over drink, especially alone, that the pproblems start. You had a great day, and I'm glad. AND, obviously, people wanted you around! That is a LARGE thing, when AL is involved (normally).

Morning everyone. So sorry about your Aunt, Ruby.

I've got to run. Not doing well today. Was going to get up extra early but have been hit by exhaustion. Going to work for a couple hours. Then take Scott to Pain Clinic Dr. (kids have been warned to sit quietly in the waiting room while I'm in there talking to the Dr), then I'll drop everyone off and then I go back for my Dr. appointment. I'm going to talk to her about my knees and legs hurting and also about this exhaustion I keep having. I'm cutting back on the Diet Coke but don't want to do it completely while the kids are here. (I don't want to hurt them :H:H)

Hi there - back in again! Ruby - so sorry about your aunt! But I am so pleased that you got some much needed rest. You obviously needed it! The pics of your cabin are lovely. So peaceful!! I love the way you have it decorated too.
