Fen, what a great response to Paul's impulse to buy. Hitting in the head obviously wouldn't be as painful!! And I think anyone working in the field of education or child care would be the worst off. I worked in education 12 years. Have a great friend who was very effiminate, and the prinicipals HATED him. He is such a wonderful, intelligent, gentle soul, and it's a shame.

ATL, here are a few excerpts from an article i saved to send daughter.

No promises on that one, Nora. We've had a heating and air company on call all summer with our rentals. Our downstairs unit went out last night, and when I called this morning, said I didn't want to be pushy, but we call them 100X more than most of their customers, and I was HOT! Chuck, my fav, was here in half an hour! :H Good news it's cooling now; bad news, probably the motherboard (or mother something) is bad, and may go back out. I'll leave hubs to negotiate (?) that one, since it's expensive. But hey, I'm not a sweaty old fat lady, at least, this afternoon. :H Hubs took the day off to work on the rental remodel, so he expects a big meal and will be a bear tonight. He's on a working vacation next week, so ya'll pray for me. Plans to redo that bath then.

Hey ya'll-- headache is gone but was replaced last night at 1 a.m. by a gall bladder attack-- not AL related-- went on one of the birth control pills that is now known to cause gall bladder disease (YAZ) and did it ever-- went off but gall bladder still acts up at times. They won't take it out because apparently my liver enzyme test is too good-- guess they will wait until I try to pass a gall stone or something and cut me open-- anyway-- made myself vomit and it helped it but weak as a kitten after-- then on my Wal_mart run today ran over a piece of metal and got out to the sound of "PSSSSST" an tire defalting to the rim. Got roadside assistance who could not find the wheel lock that I am supposed to have in the car -- he patched it, went to Honda and got a new tire, had to get hub to get son and now I am hot, disorganized and have not eaten-- a cranky witch!

Rubes-- GYN says I need to deal with GP or neuro on migraines-- the type I get though triggered by hormones is some rare kind that causes all sorts of bizarre things (vertigo, loss of temp regulation --hot to freezing for no reason, etc)--can't do any type of hormone treatment because I had cervical cancer and that might cause GYN cancers with the history (allegedly). Pain relief is what I need but not much of it. Triptans for me either did not work or I was allergic (imitrex). Hopefully I will be okay until the next month.

Hope everyone is good today-- better go cool off and get to finding supper stuff

hey there everyone .. well as you all know im trying to find a full time job on the books .. but for some reason i have only got calls from people that are buying up all these foreclose homes and wants subs handyman to come in and fix up ..
for less then what a contactor would charge..
so i gave them my resume and all ,and as long as they have permits for each job ill do the work .. so they said their gave me a call sometime next week..
but there were a few more handymen there before me .. but i was the only one with a list of ref and a website ...
which they like what they saw ..so i may be the first one to here back sooner
ATL HOPE YOU feel better and find out what causing the head acks ..

Having my homemade Italian dinner, so I can sit a second. When I called the dental specialist's office to go over my dental insurance and costs (hope I'm not repeating myself - again) found the woman I talked to knew all the same people I do, me, though she lives in the next county. Long story short, I'm going tomorrow instead of next week. Nice, since I can scare sleeping babies in my current state. And I tried to call a podiatrist about my heel, but seems they all adhere to the old Southern custom of closing on Wednesdays. Also, during my day (I didn't sit down for this!) I found the last movie made in my hometown I've been waiting for, 'Get Low'. I HIGHLY recommend it. It's on Starz, and if you have On Demand, or want to look for it's like 'Fried Green Tomatoes' (shot here), 'Driving Miss Daisy' (shot near here), 'Decoration Day' (shot here). My favorites, Robert Duvall, Sissy Spacek, Bill Cobbs, Lucas Black, and Bill Murray. Wonderful, beautifully filmed, sweet low-key story. Will be one of my favorites.

Hi everyone OMG all the PM's Thank you one and all you guys are the best love all of you!!!!
On another note I most of you know that Greatful and I are best of friends as I said before next to my wife of 25 years she is best thing to ever happen to me. We talked today for a long time she wants all of you to know that she does not want anyone to send her money!!!!!!!!! She is going through hard times however when she vented she was doing just that. She does not need money. What she does need is our love, cards and prayers. So asking everyone from the bottom of my heart Please don't send money and she means it we take care of her and she is doing much better as I talk to her every day and she would embaresed to get money when so many of us are much worse off. I can tell you honestly she is ok. so again please don't. vicky she loves you dearly and your the best so please help me out here and don't send money. Just like everyone she had a momentery laps of reasoning and that is all. Love to everyone on this therad.
