Is the dishwasher now being neglected?
Ooooooooooh me full title this morning.

The dish washer went the distance at the beginning of the year when it stopped working and we didn't get a new one.

And if Mr JC says 'Well there just the 2 of us now' as in

We don't really need a dish washer as there's just the 2 of us
We don't need a piece of beef that big cos there's just the 2 of us
We don't need the huge bag of toilet rolls cos there's just the 2 of us
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Oh damn... now that song "Just the 2 of us" is doing the rounds in my head...

All those happy laughing people sitting in the sun, glasses in hand, looking like a glossy advert is what I would normally see. Maybe casting forward 12 hours to the waking up in a groundhog day version of a personal hell is where I need to look more often. Game over.
KT, It'll be about 2 years ago this month that me and Mr JC went out for lunch and there was this woman sitting outside with a luvverly glass of red wine. Just sitting there on her own enjoying the sun.

Honestly I wanted to wrestle that woman to the ground for that glass and went into complete 'It's not fair mode :upset:' How I walked past her I'll never know. Perhaps I'd done the fast forward thingy without consciously thinking.

Things like that ARE funny! They also teach us baldies to take precautions to prevent them from happening again.

Mid-afternoon check-in. Weather turning - for the worse. Expecting rain and cold from this evening. Other than that, all is well. Big question: should I have one or two shots in my next coffee?
