Day 75
Day 75 af and I am relaxing. Going to a special church service later so I will be busy then, but for now I am chilling. I am af and I am glad to be af. If I was still drinking, I would be fighting to not spend my money that I get on Friday on AL but since I quit and I have made it this far, I know that I will put my money into good use-school supplies. I am going to have a busy day on Friday but its going to be af and not hungover. But I will worry about Friday when it gets here. I will just focus on today. It does get easier with time. I am having an easy time with staying af. I never want to return to AL ever. AL is nothing but bad.I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.
Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.
Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.Tags: None

Day 75
Congrats! Wow, when I was reading this forum a lot a few months ago I remember you being at day 10 or 20 or something. I was planning to go AF but totally blew it and had some of the worst months of my life. I can't wait for my day 75. Way to go. :goodjob:

Day 75
Keep on going Drifty, there are other distractions out there - I was just thinking the other day about how destructive smoking and alcohol are as ways to pass time, compared with say, reading a book or mowing the lawn.
