    FIND VODKA DRINK VODKA HELP

i need advice, but i know ive had all the good advice here. what the feck is going on. a week last sunday i had the most awful alcohol mess up and have been so determined and focussed not to drink. feeling such great freedom from not wondering if i should drink or not. tonight,,,,,, cooking dinner and feeling great i find a half bottle of vodka hidden in the cuboard. definately not mine.what do i do. i have a choice...... tell mr spuds to take it away and hide it, throw it away, leave it there, a million other chcoices....... what do i do..... i drink it. (it was about half a half bottle)..... then take dogs for a walk disguising the fact that i am going to buy another half bottle. from my last drinking session my mental scars are still very raw and my physical scars are raw and sore. im so dissapointed in myself i realy thought i had it cracked for good this time. WHY DID I TAKE A SIP. I WASNT CRAVING, I HADNT THOUGHT OF IT UNTIL I FOUND IT.. SORRY FOR GOING ROUND IN CIRCLES YET AGAIN. I REALLY THOUGHT I HAD CRACKED IT 10 DAYS AGO
Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

Oh Spuds, you poor darling. Pour what's left down the sink, drink a stack of water and go to bed. What else can I say but you're not the first and you won't be the last to go down this path. Big hug from me along with a kick in the botty. Love you heaps girl, and admire your tenacity, but could oh, so cheerfully throttle you right now. xxxx

You're so welcome. 4th Dec isn't all AF, just sober. I had a sherry with a friend a couple of weeks back after she insisted, and it was very pleasant but didn't awaken The Beast. Baclofen has been a miracle for me. I know you can't take that, but Naltrexone has helped my friend James. I really am sending you encouraging thoughts.
See kitty, cuddle kitty is better than the above.

Spuds, you did it, and you have horrible recent memories. The ONLY answer is, when it happens again, and it will, pour it out THEN. You may commiserate over the fact you maybe could've had just one (you know you couldn't) but it's gone then. And you have won THAT day.
          Hang on, friend.

            Hi Spuds.

You found the juice and it possessed you! We all have that moment (like an amnesiac surge of excitement) when we find the forbidden nectar no matter how much destruction it has done and will continue to do. The amnesiac personality inside us will always see the bright side of consuming it, immediately forgiving and forgetting all the damage it has done and will continue to do. Alcohol is evil - it is the real Satan. It is also the off switch - something we all want in our hectic, troubled lives.

It is bottled mental illness waiting to sprout and evolve until your brain is completely screwed. It will never be condemned as such by the politicians though because it is also a tool of social control and pacification. Blame advertising, blame pricing, blah blah blah. It is an unethical commodity full stop. You don't drink drain cleaner, why drink alcohol.

Now I just need to convince my own amnesiac
inside of what I just told you Spuds.
