Feel a bit emotional reading the advice and knowing we can switch from daft as a box of frogs to very serious in a heart beat.

We managed the swim home. But the pizza van was not there! Maybe it got washed away back to Italy. Hey! I could have got a lift to Venise, Venice, Venezia!
But this means I have to cook dinner since the Italians didn't show up! Off to search in the freezer. And hand over the computer to the little one so he can play star wars lego. *sigh*

KTAB - so sorry about your kitty. Our pets become so much a part of our family and even more so when we've had them for so many years. :huggy to you and just remember how lucky she was to be a member of your loving family.

EW - good to see you back and posting. I know you're really stressed and I hope you can work things out and get some time for yourself AND for your work, besides helping Laura through this wonderful event in your lives. Ditto to what Jackie said - lots of good advice has been posted. We may be mad as hatters here but when someone needs a shoulder to lean on or an ear to bend, the Army is always here.:l

Molly - I envy you with the wee one even if it's just for a couple of days. I can't wait to be a Granny. Specially as my guys are 34 and almost 32. I've been nagging them for years for a grandchild, in or out of wedlock...:H

ExPatty - I would just love it if you could send us that rain and I would gladly send you some :sun:.

Mrs. A - so glad to see you. I hope you've thoroughly enjoyed your holiday and we are all waiting for details when you get back. And once again, super congrats on your placing in the marathon. YOU ROCK!!!

back from a fab holiday with daughter and grandchildren feel really blessed the kiddies were a delight - gosh I'm so proud my daughter is a fantastic mum !!

EW sorry your feeling down but great advice and army you rock !!

JC how's the diet going have you lost more wobbley bits - I definately need a change in diet now

Yoooooooooo hoooooooo and good evening Mario and Panno,

Lost a total of 15 and a half pounds to date Panno. And have had to buy a couple of pairs of size 14 trousers...........more smiley thingies.

I've had a grand day. Got the washing on the line in what seems like ages. It was rather noice seeing all the whites flapping in the breeze. Did a mass of house work and cooking.

Oh and I got a long phone call from my cousin who wants me to knit her a couple of boobs.
