    Taken as it is meant..I agree totally...I don't know why I let myself get back into this cycle where my brain and body DEMAND drink, when I dont even enjoy it

        We do it EW because we have a mental obsession with alcohol and a physical addiction to it. They go hand in hand. Were obsessed by booze. Once the mental obsession takes over it's all we think about. Then we drink and that triggers our physical addiction and that's when our body craves more. The 2 go hand in hand. In my experience stopping the meds have very little to do with it. I am an alcoholic and that is how my body and mind work. For me anyway there is s clear difference between knowing I had to stop and actually wanting to stop. By erasing that mental obsession from my mind I don't pick up the first drink, hence I don't kick off the physical addiction. All the drugs and meds in the world will help, but unless I don't WANT to drink, rather than know i shouldn't, I will pick up eventually.

                Hey Reccy. Just needed some time away. Plus my laptop has broken and it costs loads to go on here on my phone.
                Kitty deleted me(along with others) and told me she wanted space to do things her way, which I respected, so I haven't heard how's she's doing soz.

                  That's a little bit worrying about kitty, cy. It sounds like she might be isolating, which is usually not a good thing. It's good to hear that things are going well for you at the moment, though.
