This has gone past rioting it's groups looting shops. The pictures of feral youths running up the street with a luvverly new 50" TV are sickening. This is now not a riot against the government or the police but just pure greed and criminality.

Dont do that JC but feral rats is right. A very tough call what to do next for the authorities as it could well end up with fatalities if it escalates, which is why the police havent used rubber bullets or water cannon yet I reckon.

It's a DS XL, not the 3D one (which is hell on one's eyes). It has a stylus, two cameras & a wifi connection. I can understand his exitement - I got my 1st ZX Spectrum computer when I was that age

Our security poloce used to spray protesters with water cannons contaoining purple dye, so that they could arrest the people easily afterward. It led to a new piece of classic graffiti: "The Purple Shall Govern"

He does play with Lego and make his own HP wands from chopsticks, though. Just in case KTAB feels a rant about the pervasiveness of useless technology coming on :H:H:H

OMG. Our two had all the new whizzy playstations and them little hand held thingies that I can't remember what they're called and a friend gave us an old one of those.

They adored it. It's still in the cupboard under the stairs.

That would be a bit hypocritical of me seeing as I have been handcuffed to computers for what seems an eternity. Do like a good old rant though :H
