    Hii everyone!
    I' m new around here and tying to find my way around (in every sense). Don't really know how this works, but I'm trying!!!

    Hey, Music!! :welcome:
    It takes a little while, but it's well worth the time. I suggest you read lots of threads here, find one you like, can identify with, and just jump in and ask for directions. You can PM people by clicking on their names and following the drop-down directions. Call on me anytime you need anything. I'm here a lot, because I carry my 'puter with me most of the time. So glad you found this great place! :wave: :hallo: :help!

        A 'thread' is one of the subjects you see on the page under each major heading. You're in 'General Discussion' right now. For instance, I post most often in 'Get your ass in gear....August'. PM is a private message, sent only to the person whose name you've clicked on. When you have one incoming, you'll see a blinking pink envelope in the upper right hand side, where you sign in. No one else can read them but the sender and the sent. Let me know if you need more help navigating.

            okay ruby! I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon. I'd like to ask you a question: are there general etiquette rules that I should know about? Since I'm new, I'm concerned about following any rules that apply.

                At the top of the page, about 3 threads down, on General Discussion, where you posted, you'll see a thread about etiquette. Don't worry, unless you get vulgar, obscene, or aggressive, you'll be OK. Sometimes some of us have some 'naughty' good natured fun, but it's the attacks, etc., that will cause problems. And there are moderators, etc., who watch for that. Please feel free to come by the Journey thread anytime and post. We love new contributors!!

                    Welcome to this forum. Feel free to check out the https://www.mywayout.org/community/f1...box-27556.html and set up a plan. Also setting up a support group both online and off can help you out.
                    I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

                    Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

                    Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.
