The Brisbane River runs around the Sanctuary. In January when the floods hit the animals were evacuated by helicopters and boats by volunteers. The park reopened just last month.



This is the creek that ripped right through the park.

Love, love, love the pictures of the animals. And the food ones are great. Eats a lot, does he, for a little guy? Reminds me of Tigger's fat little belly after he ate the souvlaki.

this is a freshwater crocodile - not as big as the ones at Australia Zoo...but Saucy put her hand AND ME in the cage!!
