    MWO World Tour Part II-Piglet!

    Looking through my family's albums I discovered these two pictures of my nephew. He was one of the people who participated in the Olympic Flame torch relay for the Winter Olympics of 2010.


    Carrying the flame.

    Posing with neighbours kids with his torch. People who participate in the relay are allowed to purchase the torch they carry if they wish to.
    The mailman passed by today. He didn't deliver Piglet.

      Nice pictures MH. Wow - that must have been a real honour and a once-in-a-lifetime experience for your nephew. I didn't realize that they can buy the torches if they want to. Now that's a memento anyone would want.

      Now, I don't want to sound flippant here but maybe you could be at the front door tomorrow about the time your postman is in your area and collar him....

                  MWO World Tour Part II-Piglet!

                  Look, friends, I owe you a long explanation, but will try to keep it short. I mailed Piggie weeks ago, but unfortunately we were at the cabin at the time, and I've been trying to track him since. He's had an unfortunate, but NOT deadly, experience, and I finally found him, recovered him, and he has been shipped. Apparently (and you'd have to know my luck with these things) I picked the one small community PO in the area which was during this time discovered to be the home of the world's OLDEST anti-government homegrown terrorist organization. It's made national news, as they were planning to assassinate radical politicals, produce bombs, and use a deadly nerve agent in federal buldings to kill anyone associated with the government. They were ALL older than age 65, one in his 80's, but somehow, and I have no knowledge it's related, his travelling accomodations sustained damage. He was reboxed, remailed, locally from my home, and though he and his companions were desperate for air, showed no other signs of trauma. He IS travelling, and this time in a USPS (last time I put his old box in a one I had available) insured package, guaranteed delivery in 6-10 days. I am HORRIBLY sorry, and feel just awful about it, but with the holiday frenzy of mailings, the political climate, the certified NUTZ in this world, I can not say I'm shocked. Because of this inexcusable delay, I've included more treats for his next host, and while I'll follow all these travels, won't attempt this again. The global world has become to dangerous and complicated. Rest assured he will arrive tired, and happy to know he has new adventures in front of him. I wish I could have done more, but didn't want to post till I had some definite information. God bless him, he's a trooper, but this has been a wicked experience when I couldn't find him. Hope for some modicum of forgiveness for my transgressions, and that he goes on to better times, brand new box and all. PLUS, he is insured (again), and that may speed his travel. Hoping for understanding, I am,

                    -Why do fingers and toes wrinkle when left in water?
                    -Why can’t we just fill in the ozone hole with man-made ozone?
                    -Can you have a fish out of water?
                    -Does chewing gum really stay inside you for years?
                    -Is Piglet being shot through the Large Hadron Collider at CERN to prove that something CAN move slower than shit?
