    MWO World Tour Part II-Piglet!

Ummm, not too sure which one/what you mean...any more info?

Not a heart but an oval shape when he's relaxed that turns into a straight line when he's thinking/frowning. When we adopted him we were thinking of changing his name to "Morse" as in morse code because of the dot dash shapes it made :H but we decided to keep his original name

OK, off to bed. Thanks so much Enja!!!!!! xxx
Sorry I missed you in real time - I need to get into the practice of checking back when I'm posting. I'm used to being on my own, as it were

Too pooped to post pics tonight but this has been bothering me all day!

After thinking about it a couple of options came to mind. First was Winterland (aka The Winterland Ballroom) which was a famous music venue that hosted everyone from the Grateful Dead to the Sex Pistols. Hopefully it's not this because it was torn down in the 80s and I can't do time travel :upset: :H :H

Second is the Regency Ballroom, it's lovely but not very famous The Regency Ballroom | Photo Gallery

          Enja,

          This is just so wonderful!

Thankyou so much for all the effort you've put into this.

Clever of Zenny to think of a DHL bag....

But with all those pics I have to come over there for a holiday. Would 5 days in SF be enough time to see most things? Why oh why were we stuck in Bishop when we could've been in SF.

Enja - once again you have given us a fascinating tour of a yet another area of San Francisco. I enjoyed your pictures so much that I took a "stroll" around the Fisherman's Wharf area via Google "street view". Got to see the sea lion colony without the stink.:H The pictures of the windows full of seafood has my mouth watering. I'll be off to the fishmongers down at the harbour tomorrow for some fresh shrimp. Yummy, yummy.

Ditto to what Rags said about how much time and effort you've put into showing us around San Francisco. Thank you so much. We have had a blast touring your city. inkele:

              Thanks, Rags & Stirly! :l :l

Rags, I think you could certainly *see* all of the sights in 5 days. Depending on how much you like to *do* it might be a little rushed - for example if you like museums or art galleries you could easily spend a few days just doing them. If you want send me a PM with the types of things you're interested in, I'll be happy to put together a sample tour for you

Stirly - I hope you get some yummy seafood! In the photos there is one which is of two warehouse looking buildings, Alioto - Lazio and California Shellfish Co - these are two of the fishing/crabbing boat companies where you can buy "fresh off the boat"

This has got to be one of the most beautiful places in the world to work - Letterman Digital Arts Center, the flagship office of Lucas Arts, Industrial Light & Magic, plus a host of other "Lucas" offshoots. It's located in the Presidio on the site of the old Letterman military hospital which shut when the base closed down and the Presidio was turned over to the National Parks

Looking west -- the building on the left is the gym and cafeteria - you can't see from this angle but there are virtual floor to ceiling windows on the side to take advantage of the view

I love the fact that there are Eucalyptus, Cherry, Palm and Fir trees all in this one pic :H

You can't really see it here but the inscription says "Philo T Farnsworth - 1906-1971 - Inventor of Television"....which makes Mr enja apoplectic every time he sees it and start ranting about it was an Englishman who invented it :H

A close up of the bridge - you can see various models that were used in various films - there are a lot of models (some life size) and posters, etc throughout the campus. They also have a Starbucks on campus and one Halloween there were StarWars stormtroopers wearing the Starbucks green aprons serving :H I have a photo of a photo of that somewhere I'll try and dig it out

I wanted to get a photo here of Piglet and Miss K but it was really, really windy and I didn't want them to take an unplanned plunge in the fountain and the sun was right behind Yoda making it tricky to photograph (I NEED a better camera now! :H) but here's a handsome Jack!
