I just read that Jani Lane, who was the lead singer of the hair band Warrant (big hit "Cherry Pie") was discovered dead in a hotel room. He had a well documented history of alcohol addicition though they have not released a cause of death. He was only 47 years old. It is tragic what this poison can do to us in the guise of "fun" or "relaxation"

Just made me think of those "glamorous" alcohol ads we see. Too bad they don't finish out the ads showing a distended belly, yellowed skin, vomiting in toilet bowls, etc.Comment
