I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.
Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.
Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow. -

Me too, Snapdragon. Feels good even though we're only on day 2 today. I did not drink yesterday and had many opportunities. Visited my uncle after work (hubby and he had a beer), then to restaurant for dinner (hubby had a beer), then to visit baby granddaughter (hubby had a beer), then to friends for an hour (everyone was drinking beer). I was HAPPY, FUNNY and SOBER. If I could do it last night I can do it forever! By the way, I drove home.Tipplerette

I strutted my stuff on super high heels yesterday and kept my soda glass in perfect balance. I surfed over a river of Guiness - the prerequisite of kicking the St. Patrick weekend into gear - Irish embassy style.
Out of over 200 people last night I was the ONLY one who did not drink.workaholic, shoeaholic and yes ... alcoholicComment

NOt only did I not drink yesterday but i took my first 2012 ride on the moto .. it was great... then we went to dinner where i watched everyone else drink and i had water... AND i didn't care..caper
