I am grand Starty, thanks. Mood not improved by a letter just arriving informing me of 2nd rise in mortgage payments in as many months, and as you know I am rolling in it.

On a tracker to ECB interest only and smaller variable one, so in a word nope.

Sorry to hear that about your mortgage KTAB. :upset:
I'm just trying to get some paper work done (the fun never stops!) and then go out to run some errands. Can't hide from it. And I know I'll feel better once it's finished .

                          :hallo: Folksies

                          Lunchtime check-in.

We had some drama last night, with eldest cub crying his eyes out after he finally told us that he was being bullied at school. Long story short: contact was made with headmaster this morning. The school's response has been excellent. Headmaster 1st had a long chat with him and his class teacher. Followed up by calling in those responsible and finally he addressed the entire class on the topic of bullying and respect for others.

I feel much better now. I hope there'll be an improvement. Between the school and us, we'll monitor closely.
                          I'll do whatever it takes

Tippers, tell your eldest cub what a brave thing he did by telling you he was being bullied. It takes a strong person who can do that.

Ooooooooh bullies make me so angry.

The initial interview was brilliant. Go back on Tuesday to see the big boss clutching me official application form and proof of ID so they can do a CRB check as I'll be working with vulnerable adults. First time ever being an alcoholic has given me an advantage.

It's self referral so all the clients are reaching out for help and not court ordered. It's a very small venture and locally funded for the moment.

                                That sounds brill, JC :l

I told the cub that I'm proud of him. Spoke to him after school - he was already in much better spirits. Some of the kids have apologised to him. The main instigators aren't talking to him, which is fine by me.
