It's a coming, folks, toward people that aren't used to this kind of thing. Let's all pray there are no lives lost, especially those who are as indifferent to this one as many were to Katrina. Bitter cold for too long, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, rain storms, unbelievable heat, droughts, - these are things politcians can't control, and we have a country full of people who aren't listening to our Mother Earth. I don't know what's worse, the media scaring everyone overly, or those that thumb their noses at the forecasts and choose to ignore them. We have become complacent, right? People who 'enjoyed' the high surf so far have died. People are trying for having bragging rights about what they did to flaunt the storm. New Yorkers are screaming about having no subway. I'm praying the other bad things don't continue. This has not been the big one, but they come. There have been no plans to deal with a complete shutdown of the US east cost from a stronger storm. Not enough space here to list the ramifications of that to the country, much less the loss of life. Just stay home, everyone, and pray for those who don't.
