Survived an AF holiday and heading for 6 months

A month before we went on our annual family holiday I was panicking about being AF. Well I am pleased I managed it fine (drank a bit much Diet Coke LOL) and actually enjoyed not waking up feeling like crap every morning after drinking cheap Spanish rubbish. Also passed 5 months AF while I was away, so I had an extra special diet coke to celebrate and when I came home I got myself another purple treat.

Now heading towards 6 months and I can't wait to get there

Am posting this in case it helps anyone else in their battle to be AF

Hi Corinne,

I love stories like yours, you are an inspiritation to us all and
congratulations on coming up to 6 months too.
We think we are going to fall apart on holiday without AL but
somehow it seems even better without it now and now instead
of hangovers and headaches I just have lovely memories that
once upon a time I wouldn`t have even remembered.

HI, I am only about a month AF, so your six months is inspiring to me. I wonder if you would be willing to share your sober holiday on the Just Starting Out forum, and the Sober September Challenge. Our topic is AF social events and holidays, and since I don't have much wisdom to offer, those who have done it successfully could be a great help!
