Well, they say it's been the coldest summer here since 1993, so I've had the heating on all year. Hasn't stopped me from burying myself under the duvet from time to time though. Without the jammies, mind.....I don't have jammies...

They've just started banging on about drinking in the 'older' population. It'll be another 8 squillion quid government survey that a trip down the local could have told you for the cost of a pint.

Mind you don't think I've ever shared a bottle of wine in me life.

My goodness, what a sweet face Joni has and what a wonderful voice. Have no idea what instrument that is that she's playing. And I'm a little curious as to why the song says that she can't wait to get home to California when her hometown is Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. On second thought, I expect she went to California and it being the late 60's and she being a musician of the "flower child" generation, she probably felt much more at home in laid-back California than the farming city she where she was born. Anyway, which ever way you look at it, she wrote some amazing songs and is a legend in her own time. And a very successful artist as well...
