Underoos and guests - September and it is spring!

    Morning.
    That's wonderful news Missy!!!!!!
I hope you all have lovely Thursdays. I am orf and into it.
    It's grey and dismal outside.
TF, I dreamt I met you last night. You were fun, and spunky, and a firecracker!
    Laters all!

      Morning all,

Great news on that hourly rate Missy. Saph would have the latest, but i think here, in victoria at least, there is an hourly rate up to a point, then a 'sleepover' fixed, crap amount. An hourly rate for sleepover workers, at penalty rates, all through the night is long overdue. I've done sleepover's in the past, and i never slept, and was often up in the middle of the night attending to something or other.

In other news, i've just read about a 'bat attack' (flying fox) in Brisbane, where a woman is having to undergo painful rabies injections. What mythical rubbish.
Everyone knows you can only get rabies from a musician.

      Ooroo.

BEAUTIFUL flowers, love. Our leaves are going gold, red, orange, every color between, and starting to fill up my yard as we nose into fall here. My two favorite seasons - spring and fall, and so nice to share vicariously one while we're in the other. Irises and lilies are my very favorites, and I don't have a chocolate. Must find some bulbs for that one to put out soon. I do have a beautiful blush, sort of the color of your rose, and hundreds of the old fashioned white and purple.

TF - just shared that clip with the office and it has had us all in stitches!!

Have never seen a chocolate iris and it is incredibly beautiful. I've been wondering why irises bloomed much earlier in NZ than Australia when I would have expected it to be the other way around???? My crocuses are looking and smelling good at the moment, but I think I planted the ranunculus in a pot that wasn't deep enough.

Rags has picked a good weekend to be in Wellington. It is the weekend of the only AB match here, and there is lots going on, a lovely feel of excitement and enjoyment, and the weather is behaving itself!!

Missy - can't answer you re the iris. First to appear here were short, purple bearded ones, followed by the blue Dutch ones (like yours). Now the chocolate and still to come are the tall bearded whites which should reach a height of 1m+. Already finished are the blue grape hiacynths which is a pity beause I planted them in a circle around a pile of red tulips. Can't make them co-operate and flower at the same time. ***sob***

I like the Lost Fart clip. Reminds me of the Drawer.

And Ruby - re your clip - I have no idea what that young man is on about ***sob***

Lunch today was potatoes Gratin, two little grilled lamp choppies and a mountain of brussels, carrots and green beans.
