Evening Undies!! Haven't checked out Reg's house yet as the wi-fi connection where I am is a bit intermittent.
My uncle's funeral today was magnificent in a very Catholic sort of way, but you would have to be a catholic to appreciate it. I count myself as a catholic in a cultural and anthropological sense although there is a lot about the church as an institution that I cant stomach. But today was one of those really lovely very ceremonial occasions involving lots of incense, lots of music and multiple priests. One of my cousins reckoned that if we counted about all of the offspring of my grandparents (my father, my uncle and three sisters) there were 87 of us there today :H:H.
Anyway, after the funeral, the interment and the after-match function, I took myself off to a spa. Came back for a micro-wave dinner and have just curled up in front of a re-run of Downton Abbey and Midsomer Murders next!!! Fly back to Wellington early tomorrow morning for Mum's 87th birthday celebrations!!!
good night undies!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Love your Avatar Reggie!
Sleep well Undies - we have a Fathers day home made pizza night on! and then early beddage. Did want to go into the city for Riverfire but the menfolk have boycotted (?!?) over the F1 - 11s not doing the dump and burn so will have to be satisfied with telly. Loose tuckage to all...

You may well think that I hand out properties in a willy-nilly, carefree fashion but that's NOT the case. It is with much deliberation that I find properties and match them to the most suitable new owner. So this week I pondered ... who could do with a major change of scenery? Who might need to house a 30' boat?
And you know, the more you think, the clearer things get. Funny that. So without another moment's hesitation, I decided that this week's house should go to Reggie! Now if you take the Walkthrough Tour you'll find some ... erm ... 'artworks' which I've asked to be removed. There are also some utterly questionable window treatments which will be attended to BUT ... for Reggie, I think the place is perfect because:
? it has generous proportions
? there is an ideal position for the beautiful upright
? 80 acres is big enough to never again step on an Olive barkers egg
? the pool will be great for Regina
but most importantly
Reggie will be a happy man because he can steam mop forever!!!!!!
No need to thank me - I'm good like that. Here ya go:

Hey KTabs,
Raggsie, my cousin was a ski-shoot kinda gal who went in the winter olympics and did really well. Much respect for the sport, though i've never even considered shooting anything myself.

An apple grower told me that he's forced to spray his Golden Delicious to help stimulate those little bumps which define the variety.
I had a friend who started an organic apple orchard years ago. At the time all the government information was basically that she HAD to use 9 kinds of spray on her apples or her farm would fail (dept agriculture i think). She kicked up a stink and worked her butt off and over the years had success. Still, no market for organic fruit in those days so she ended up making organic apple cider vinegar instead.
