Happs, your kids will turn out just fine, with a fabulous mum like you, they have no choice. I have to wonder about our education system though. If the kids were having their passions fired up and the subject matter was exciting, even relevant at times, and the teachers really really beleived in what they were trying to impart into our childrens hearts, maybe, just maybe there would be no need for late assignments and detentions. I spent a lot of time questioning the education SYSTEM because my own experience and that of my extremely independent thinking children had us at odds with the institution.

Dag! you know by and large pretty happy with the boys school. This is only the second teacher I've struck that is a whack job...I could whack him over the head...mmmm..

Fabo day here in paradise, raining like the clappers so I am doing my happy dance. Have minimal plans today. Walk Lucy, stock up the fridge and then some P/T this arvo. Have a peaceful and fruitful day.

I have just pulled out an old copy of the 'Tough Love' manual that I was given by a sympathetic friend years ago. Happy to do report back when I've read it. At this point I am also of the opinion that Tough Love might well involve a phone book and the butt end of sawn off shot gun.

Hi Lilly, you also sound like you are grabbing life in both mits. Have changed plans about walkaage. I love walking in the rain, but it seems that miss Lucy doesnt. Got about 2oo metres downthe road and she said to me "fusk, this weather is only good for one thing.....being inside on the couch" witht that turned around and pulled me at great speed back home. I tell ya my life is ruled by that dog!!!!! Two men talking on footpath pissed themselves laughing at my pathetic pleas to Lucy, to please please please let mummy keep walking. Ah the things we do.
