          Morning underats,

Holed up in bed after falling off bike onto road, in front of car. Cracked the elbow, skun the knee and sprained ankle, bruised big toe. Fusk!!!!!! Worst part about it was the embarrassment. Lying under bike, laughing my head off. Must be the adrenaline kicking in. A lovely bloke hauled the bike off me and insisted on slinging it on the back of his ute and driving me home.

Ten minutes before the mishap, I was screaming along road, waxing lyrical about the joy of bike-riding..the reduction in carbon footprintage and smugly berating all those philistines racing along in their cars. Thinking to self that when I get my licence back, might consider not even driving!! Hah...fuck that......Pushbikes are evil. Designed to maim and destroy....anyone gotta a panadeine forte....send by courier...COD...that is all

Oh Sapphy!!! That's no good! Here's a laster: for your knee and :choc: for your soul ... and :l for the rest of you. Hope Lucy is waiting on you hand and paw .... or at least offering sympathy!! What a nice bloke to give you a ride home!

Ronnie - hear you on the weights in your legs! How hard is it to walk down stairs or sit down??!! :H

I hate to admit it, but I'm starting to enjoy Rugby World Cup fever!! Wellington has been scrubbed up to look its best, and the weather has been cooperating beautifully. I've been out on the waterfront every day for the last four days and it looks so sparkly and peaceful. And there is heaps of non-rugby stuff going on as well, and everyone just seems to be in a good mood!

Tips, if you are checking in, Wellington is hosting the SA team and there are Saffas everywhere!! Mind you, I am very glad I am not going to be in town for the SA/Wales match on Sunday. It is sold out, and I rather suspect it will be too many people, too hyped up, and the first big game in Wellington.

I've been laughing at Mr B - I'm always onto him to eat more healthily, but after his hospital scare last week, he is now eating raw carrots and salads on a voluntary basis!! And we even have a 2-day juice fast planned for when we are on holiday next week!!
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Hi Missy,Thanks for the care package...ya forgot the morphine though.....love the photo of your tabby in the bag. Amazing what a health scare can do to motivate change. Tell hubby about the benefits of raw beetroot too. Mixed with copious quantities of carrots, he will soon proudly sport, pink wee wee and orange skin..marvellous. I like the juice fast idea. Have done it for as long as 10 days..using mainly apple juice because of its alkaline properties and its hunger busting. I used to visit a very ancient herbal doctor who advocated apple juice fasts to rebalance acid/alkaline. He was such a wise man. He sold his recipes to Blackmores in the late 70"s for a pittance..he was the ultimate philanthropist so it didnt bother him that they consequently got rich with them and he remained humble. Bet you cant wait for your holiday. I am laid up for about two days to recover before going to work, a perfect time to catch up with Undies.

Yeah well yer lucky to have the choice as whether to get on or not get on Mr. Happs:H This celibacy gig is not what it is cracked up to be:H Sorry for any offence to the more ladylike folk, lurking or not. Tips on weight loss Happs.........Get outside and walk ya arse off for at least 45mins every day.Drink stacks of water; limit coffee and salt; eat nothing after 6pm. Take fish oil by the bucketload. Dont DIET just change your evil ways a day at a time FOREVER. (Invoice in the mail)......eat a little of what ya love every day including chocolate, but stop at a little. Get someone to hit you around the ears with a spurtle if you get too obsessed with looking like a 18 years old (speshly if you are over 40).
