          Mmmm not sure about this line though:

          And when the weather is nice, see your animals do some sun-baking in the open area. Plenty of spaces to allow them to runs and exercises.

                  I had an extended nanna nap this arvo. Feels very strange to be the last one still up.

                  Have any of you done some research on the history of chooks? Quite fascinating, actually. Especially when it comes to genetic diversity and such.

                    It will - I am really sure of it. Still, I think I will get the ladies and the seedlings anyway. Going to have a chat to Mr Happs about living in the now or some crap like that...

                        Or grow your veggies in pots. Or even one of those wall gardens for tomatoes, lettuce, herbs etc etc. Transportable.

                              Depends on whether you can let them free range during the day .... if you can just a smallish one for sleeping. If not, you'd have to have a sizable run for them included in the chicken palace, so they can have a scratch yard and sun themselves.They like dust baths, and it helps them with their mites etc.

                                Morning ladies and that includes YOU Mine is like the $500 one - it's very good but I wouldn't like it if they couldn't free-range during the day. I reckon for your mob you'd need about four/five girls so it's plenty big enough but for me half the pleasure is watching them cruise around the block. They automatically tuck themselves up at dusk so all I have to do is lock 'em in. I added chicken wire around the sides and base so foxes can't dig under but I don't expect you'd have that prob.
