Underoos and guests - September and it is spring!

Got one of those coco fibre lined hanging pots and cut an X hole in the bottom of the liner, hung the tomato out of there (roma) herbs on top, hanging off an old basket ball ring. Fun. Will be interedting to see how tomato goes.
I reckon I'm going to try one of these this weekend. I've got a spot in my garden that is not that easy to get to but gets fab sun and is really sheltered as it is just underneath the deck. Just need to work out (or get Mr B to work out!) how to put in some hooks in the underside of the deck to hang the baskets on.

Not only have I lost litres and litres of water but the little bastard has also cost me the better part of a big bottle of gas whilst boiling hot water was aimlessly pissing down the drain.

Tawny, it has been pouring down here overnight, and I've collected some for you. It'll be in the mail this morning!

First, I meant no insult whatsoever about Underoos being a chat room. You all seem so happy and care-free (for the most part), that I thought perhaps you were AF gods, and had the magic wand for remaining so.
Juja, like others have said, it is pretty hard to insult an Undie!!! Sometimes what appears to be "care-free" is more of an Oz/NZ cultural trait that is something along the lines of "shit happens, pick yourself up and get on with it". Speaking for myself I struggle with the beast continually. And I win a lot more than I used to!! But thanks to the people on this thread, and the wider MWO community, at least I actively struggle, rather than completely giving up and sinking into the mire.

Reg :l I have tears in my eyes at this. My biggest and most heart-felt wish for you is that this process continues and that you both find happiness together with your wee girl. Once again you win the "Best Bloke of the week" award - prize being a huon pine spurtle (which Rags will courier to you forth-with) and a years supply of "Nivea for Men" products which you can claim from the south wharf when you pick up your container of 'West footscray eyelash' (I dont even know what that is :H)

    Sometimes I think this too.

Anyway, I'm off to work early as I'm heading away up north at lunchtime for the funeral. I'm really looking forward to catching up with my sister and all my cousins. And I couldn't manage to get back by any means until Sunday morning, which means that I will get a quiet evening on my own in a town which is full of health spas and great cafes, and I have a few treats in mind for myself

Well wasn't this a lovely thing to read this morning. Makes me old heart sing and I'm firing cupid arrows toward you and your Botticelli woman. Great stuff, Reggie.

I'm now going to skip off into the day with a smile on my dial.

Hiya kids. I had an absolute wonderful birthday. My hubs surprised me with a hike at Minyon falls, which was lovely and healthy. Dropped pups at the pet hotel (which I will never leave them there again, I am constantly worried about them.) Then hubs has brought me to where we are staying the next 3 days, at Q1 in Surfers on the 50th floor in a 2 bedroom Apartment. The View is GRAND. So had a lovely dinner, topped off with a pint of ben and jerrys for good measure. Just relaxing the next couple days. I just wanted to say thank you for all the well wishes on my special day, it made it more special.

Morning Missy! Morning Lilly! have done drop off and now catching up...might not get to see my meditation instructor this morning coz I am expecting a phone call so will do my own thing at home...

The circumstance isn't great for your trip Missy but you at least get the opportunity for a catch up and have a bit of you time. Enjoy!

Definitely not as twitchy this morning, I was really wound up yesterday with everything going on but got through with a little help from here.

It is a beautiful day in Brisbane doncha reckon Lilly? Time to get out and into it I think!! Will be lurkin around~

Ahh Sunny - that sounds wonderful.

                      Happy - yes Photobucket edit.

And one further profound thought ... if there is real love, it doesn't go away. Sometimes it just takes a lengthy holiday before it comes to its senses.

Better have a bit of a lie own after that brain strain ...

Edit: hate to sound corny but in lieu of the above Mr Happs and myself are on a date night tonight....he's been working so many Saturdays and earlys which means bed at sunset that I seem to have developed a better relationship with Piglit...

Last night, the trigger was anger and frustration, consequently, 3 beers, but not the usual bottle of wine. My problem is my life is in such a shit place now that I never wake up feeling happy and rested. I can't make plans--at all; taking care of my elderly parents, and maintaining hearth and home is all I can do. Since going AF, I've yet to experience the wonderful feeling of waking up bright eyed, rested and at peace.
You're in a very tricky situation there you know.
I was thinking about this as I fell asleep last night.
We have a number of services available here for aging people and their carers, government funded. They vary from state to state, but usually include health assessments, referral to other services but also different types of respite, in home and external.
Just wondering if you have the equivalent services there ? It's a shame that you seem to be doing this without much support for yourself or back up.
