Quiet in the cheap seats!!! though I think its more a case of "he's gonna get some" - hanging round a horny pair of stuffed animals is giving me way too many ideas. Plus my knee is on the mend so I am a little bit more bendy....

Isn't it amazing how we've 'improved' our foods to exclude perfectly normal imperfections, and just lost so much in the process.....? Beautiful old heirloom veg are just the business. Purple carrots, and black tomatoes.

Funny you should say that. I found a little grub inside one of the old apples and squeeeeallled! Haven't seen a grub in an apple since the old king died ...

An apple grower told me that he's forced to spray his Golden Delicious to help stimulate those little bumps which define the variety.
