Underoos and guests - September and it is spring!

    Today's Big Question

    "Isn't it a pity
That a man from the city
Hit a woman in the titty
    With a hard-boiled egg?"

That, dear Undies, is apparently a skipping rhyme which little girls in the 50's chanted whilst skipping. Now I know that most of you have children of the male persuasion BUT ... my question is ... does any kid still spend hours and hours, during lunchtime and recess and after school ... skipping? Or are skipping ropes banned and considered dangerous implements now?

Skipping is now an OHS risk. It is also considered 'epic gay'.
Reciting the above rhyme would result in the child being referred for councilling and reprogrammed in terms of political correctness.
If the parent of above child happens to be single......well there's your explanation right there......
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

        Thanks.

I heard that we seem to have an abundance of overweight kids.

Guess the explanation's right there ...

French kids skip rope. Well, at least till the age of 10 or so. Not too sure about after that. When I went to pick up my son from after care the other day they were out in the school yard-boys and girls-having a competition of who could "skip" the fastest and most times without messing up. No titty rhymes though.:H Don't boxers skip rope to train?

Ahemmm...just consulted locusts...eldest said " I dont skip rope anymore it interferes with my high heels and I dont want people seeing my bum in my skirt"....mmmm...

They do have two compulsory PE sessions a week and have to commit to an extra curricular activity once a term though....probably just as well

I don't think I'll ever be able to master that Tawny!:H I could go faster if I just roll it in a ball and throw it in th wardrobe but the result would not be the same. Thank God for jumper season!!! All wrinkles hidden (except the ones on my face).

Erm.....We don't call it overweight anymore. It's not politically correct.
                      We say a-d-i-p-o-s-e-ly c-h-a-l-l-e-n-g-e-d .......

How did I miss Expat's new house??!! Must have been during dodgy internet reception when I wasn't always reading back because every page took about 5 minutes to load

I have forwarded on the quick and neat shirt folding video to Mr B. If someone can find me the following videos I will be very grateful:

                        And yes I am really
looking forward to meeting Rags!!!! (not to mention the Teddies!!)

                            Here is Expat's house:

                            11 McAnally Drive, Sunshine Beach, Qld 4567 - House for Sale #106958132 - realestate.com.au

She had expressed a desire to visit Qld and I figured the size of the property would make a nice change from living in Paris. She might consider a 6 months on/6 months off situation. Totally up to her of course.

                              Thank you!!!!!
