Underoos and guests - September and it is spring!

What gorgeous photos Missy? Is the last one coming into Wellington? I really would love to visit MIL someday...

Hey Kaz, good to hear from you. You sound great and hope you feel the same.

Mr Happs has his bum crack up in the air - I went to drive eldest locust to work and my car wouldnt start. Flat battery we think but I swear I left nothing on....last time I drove was daylight so I didnt have me lights on??? wtf.....waiting for our mortgage broker.....

Hi Missy - love the photos. Ohhhhh makes me want to go somewhere!
Hi Happy, yep feeling great and looking forward to this beautiful relaxing Sunday, what more could we want eh? Pity about your car Happs, in the Territory, car batteries don't last very long, they just conk out with no warning - apparently to do with the heat and humidity so I've been told. I've got the mechanical aptitude of a house brick though, so I go along with what I'm told. Bye for now. Kaz xx

Shit....left the boot fractionally open when we were unpacking mountainous camp packs and school bags and trying to consume our Maccas before we got inside the house on Friday afternoon so Mr Happs wouldnt see us buying into capitalism at its peak....hence the flat battery...slow drain and I didnt use my car yesterday...crappo he can be so smug sometimes...

Well he shouldn't be so food-ily judgemental.
            So that means it's his
            fault.

                G'day everybodddeeee - you're all sounding chipper

Raggsy - loved the cocky shot!

Missy - you sooooo should be working for the NZ Tourist Bureau. Fantastic pics. Would love to sit in 41 water temp.

So - this is the result of my morning. Can you work out the relevance of Undies and Internationals? How they impact on our daily lives?

And using the left-over six egg whites, the Chocolate Pav will be ready for fanging tomorrow. So - is it a Kiwi invention or not? Sooo many questions ... such little time ...

That tucker looks perfect. LOVE lemon curd, esp when it's really tart.

drooling over that afternoon tea Reg!!! Passion fruit sponge cake - I must google that one!!

Lovely day had here ...... my Mum turns 87 tomorrow and one of my nieces (and one of her favourite grandchildren!) came down for the day. Mum hasn't been well for a few weeks, but she was feeling better this morning, and up to having a day out. It was beautiful weather and so we all sat on the deck at home and chatted and ate and drank cups of tea and generally farted about.

And it is 4.5 working days till I go on holiday

I indoctrinated my niece into the Spurtle appreciation society tonight. Now she wants one too!! Promised to make her porridge in the morning!!

She and Mum are very close and Mum told her a lot of stuff about her life today that I never knew about. Still thinking about a lot of it.

                            Sleep tight undies!

                              Hiya Undies,

well we had an AMAZING few days away. We stayed in the Q1 in a 2 bedroom on the 50th floor with ocean views. We ate a nice meal every night. We did some shopping. More eating. Then yesterday hubs surprised me with an in room 90 minute massage and facial. Talk about being pampered. I felt so blessed, and loved.
So I am back. Will never leave dogs at pet hotel again. One dog cried all the way home. I think they are just left in the kennels all day, I'm not sure. One dog is looking pretty skinny. Hubs and I are thinking we should start our own pet hotel, where the dog gets treated like part of the family. So we would only have 2 dogs at a time so they get treated well, walked, loved.
                              Nice to be back!
