Underoos and guests - September and it is spring!

Hello Undies and Internationalists et al
Happy, you are not alone, we all fusk up so please don't be so hard on yourself, you are certainly not a miserable shit and must never ever feel like that, don't under estimate yourself and stop beating yourself up, just remember we are all in the same boat and we will all row the damn thing until we see land, and you know what, we will come out the other side feeling good and happy, so Miss H, c'mon, you are fabulous in every way - a great person, a great friend, a great wife, a great Mum and all in all you are bloody great and that is that!! No arguments please! Remember Happs you and I came here round about the same time and if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here now. Hey Sunny, BBBJ and all other Undies here's hoping you are having a great night with you and yours. So to all be kind to yourselves, take care and Love and Sunshine Always Kaz x
Today, give a stranger one of your smiles. It might be the only sunshine he sees all day. ~Quoted in P.S. I Love You, compiled by H. Jackson Brown, Jr:l:l

What is shocking too is that I am sooo good at functioning - had meetings from 10 til 3 and no one the wiser except me. I've truly kicked my own butt and am working on a plan and sticking to it. Will not be my own victim.

so moving right along....hope all undies had a great day?
Good stuff Saucy. I find complacency is a very sneaky fecker, that certainly very, very, sloooowly snuck up on me and caught me orf guard. H.A.L.T.S. as Jones alluded to are AA's recommendations to watch out for too. If you don't know them, they are -

      Hungry
      Angry
      Lonely
      Tired
      Sad.

The 'Sad' i added on, but it qualifies. We must be wary of these emotions and let them go/deal with them as soon as possible when they come along.

If you go back again to having a drink for whatever reason, (and there aren't any good ones at all) just be careful. Chances are you'll moderate nicely for a short time, then soon enough bang, back into the old routine. Then the day 1's will become difficult and painful again, as the misery does it's thing to take you and your family apart. BUT, it sounds like you've already made your mind up to get back on track, non? In a day or 2 you'll be firing again!

I know you know this stuff, i'm just sticking my fat nose in. P.S. i had a look at the toolbox the other day. Geez, it's bloody sensational reading.

Never think your sticking your nose in Mr G. Your presence and advice are always appreciated. And you and Bridgey are right - had a dose of ALS - haha bizarrely how the initials spell where I went with it.

Kaza and Sunny and all other undies thanks. Throbbage would be present if I didnt think I'd offend the frog...

I can't get in either Ficks, sorry. Hope it's a small hick up.

And listen Happs, by the time you wake up and see this message, you'll already feel better than you did today. There's nothing like a screaming hangover to make you feel like there's no hope. Almost like the alcohol gets us twice. Once while we're drinking, then bites us in the arse all the next day for good measure. Bloody misery it is.

Missy. I love the photos. Sounding like a lovely mini break. I hope you're both ''catching up on your sleep"

Alright all contributors, joy germs and spurtle wielding heros.....I'm out.....tomorrow is a brand new adventure.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?
