    come to think of it, that's a normal part of my mind currently, so what the heck?
    & as i am so currently in the sharing mood, i am of the resolve to stop swearing. as an example. as a gentle reminder to the mind to simply quiet down. to calm my farm.

    enough blathering. pork with crackle + roasted baby carrots + mashed spuds with evoo + broccolini + gravy coming right up.

            You know begs, I reckon you are right about the swearing. It can be cathartic, but when I swear it is usually when I am feeling angry or aggressive. And good luck with those tomatoes! Think it is time I planted some myself!

            I think we are going to extend our holiday. We've actually been doing lots of running around and doing stuff, but today is the first day we have had to completely chill. Think that a weekend of doing that and then driving back on Monday might be what is needed.

              Morning lovlies,

              Just had this huge swell of love for you guys rise up in this little devils chest. MMMMWWWWWAAAAHHHHHHH. Bloody hell arent we all blessed to have found each other. Sorry I seem to just be jumping in saying something quickly then pissing off. Truth is that yesterday I had a major three hour intervention at my house, involving mental health workers and Police and my ver prescious son. Most of you know his story, so I wont elaborate (Gotta rack off to work in a mini). It has been getting to this point since I bundled him up and brought him home back in July. I have watched and waited with breath held for the right moment....timing is critical with this stuff). I had exhausted every possible avenue I had (and I have a huge toolbox to draw from). The CAT team were highly skilled and gentle and were able to convince him that this was the best thing for him. So he packed up his books, his clothes and his most prized possessions his didgeredoo, drums and off he went to hospital. I exhaled and prayed!!!!!!!!!! There is nothing and I mean nothing more painful for a parent to do than to admit their most beautiful, gentle, tortured child to a psych hospital. Then you sit and wait and hope that those that you entrust for his care can finally touch him and draw out the pain and put an end to his suffering. I wait and I wait and I will keep waiting and walking beside him till the end of my days.

              Gratitude given in vast bucketloads today my wonderful undies. Grateful that I am able to face up to this and bear it with a clear head and no threat that AL will get its grubby mits on me and make this infinitley more difficult. Thank fusk for sobriety folks.

              Next week I will have more time to read back and engage properly.......I hope that you are all well and happy and I send you love and strength Saff xx

                What a brave, but heart wrenching thing you did, Sapph. You had to have your stuff together to pull that off. I don't know if this applies, but as Carol Burnett (American comedian/actress) once said about her addicted child, "I love my child enough for her to hate me."

                I don't know your story, but I wish your son well, and you, blissful peace.:l

                  I love that quote by Carol Burnett and I will put that one in m toolbox. Thanks for your support...it means a lot. I have been going through this with my boy for about 11 years now, it started when he was 17. No stranger to the pain that it brings with it, only in this instance I am sober and "sane" myself and the coping is a lot easier. How are you doing? I cant stay long, have to go to work for three days and cant log on while there. I also wish you blissful peace. :l

                      Sapphy huge hugs. I had foster kids with mental health problems and can only imagine how painful it must be when they are your own. You are an amazing woman sapphy :l and your son is very lucky to have his mother with him at such a distressing moment for him.

                        Morning Undies and Sundries, that glad you are here thing is in my head....Saphster what everyone has said, to be experiencing what you are at the moment and to stay so level and there - and also here for us...I can only imagine what you are going through and I dont know how many people would be reacting as you are. Your boys are lucky to have such a mum.
