Children like ours also do very well on treadmills.
Have one of them stand on the treadmill, and the other 'surprise' him by turning it off and on unexpectedly.
They will have the happy little scars for years, and you will have a boy shaped hole in the gyprock of your spare room. Promise. If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

all other who think that Team America is the funniest thing in movies , i applaud you. i absolutely get incontinent whenever i watch it ( everybody needs a MON-TAGE) & the "herro, Hans Bricks" gets me every time......you're breakin my balls.....
oh happy i am soooooo glad you bought that movie up, must buy a permanent copy to remind myself .....what a hoot.
have not yet tried the ninja shirt folding thingo tawny. will go back ,find link & trial. promise.
it is such a disgusting windy day here, enough to suck the living daylights outta ya. tried riding in the 40km/hr "breeze" (with gusts up to 55) & nearly had me 'elmet blown off me 'ead!!! yuck, yuck & triple yuck. hate hate hate the wind. it gets my borken up.
only 1 more day until we're off to Adelaide.....had my Arthur Galan dress dry-cleaned, & my husband made an interesting comment : " are you going to wear that dress again?"
now folks, this dress cost nearly $800 when we went to Melb 2 yrs ago for the cup, but hubby reckons SIL will remark on the repetitive wear thereof. i ask you, as if buying multiple dresses of that calibre are really required. just cos SIL is one of those dress/label snobs who had a boob job, revels in wearing false eyelashes & expensive clothes...grrr. i will wear this dress until it is thread-bare, cos it is bloody nice, & it was damn expensive! i hate clothes snobs. borken hell.
there.
on a different subject, anyone ever been on Silicea for skin/hair/nails?
for healthy, shiny, body parts mentioned, that is.

Beags: I hear you re the wind. Turns me into a screeching harpy. Have been known to hide indoors with the ear protectors on. I'm trying to remember if I've ever spent $800 on a frock ... I don't think so. I must be a sartorial tight-arse.
Missy - try this. It's the same thing but I don't like it as much. I liked the oriental ninja version. Tara Dennis > house > organising > fold a T-shirt
HP - have Delicious and liking the look of Bill Granger's stuff. I've optimistically started cleaning up the outdoor eatery in eager anticipation of fine al fresco fanging.
Had a really good, productive six outdoor hours but now it's down tools for the day - my "Stieg Larsson and Me" book arrived today and I just know that I can't read in bed any more. Head + pillow = instant sleepage so I will now engage in some self-indulgent reading time.

don't worry tawns - i wasn't keen on the idea either but husband was in a grandiose mood & it was Chappell St South Yarraaahhhh, & i didn't have posh enough clothing for the company we were keeping at the races...........but i will wear it until it falls apart (hopefully that won't occur whilst it is actually ON me!).
A new cook book happy? yay. i'm a collector. but i reckon bill grainger has to be a bit gay don't you think? he's a very delicate chappy.
