Underoos and guests - September and it is spring!

Yummo. Belch. Just had a lovely lunch of shredded cooked chook, baby cos, avo, red capsicum, watercress and crumbled fetta ... smothered with a generous slurp of nuoc cham. Brilliant.

Planted six different toms this morning and am trying one of Bridge's upside-down ones. Heaps more weeding and digging up bulbs I don't want. May resort to the old Roundup.

That's it for the lunchtime report. *** vroom ***

That's fantastic Freddo, but i'm still perplexed with that Jones girl. What is a front bottom? A N.S.W. term probably. Also..............how are you? (yeah, yeah, i know the drill. i'm not expecting an answer anytime soon, but the thought is out there)

Lovely day had here!! A bit of a lie in, then a few hours work, then a saunter up the road to catch the bus to the airport. Flight was great ...... full of lots of Americans coming down to Wellington for the USA-Australia match tonight. It was a friendly and festive atmosphere, and I hope my fellow undies don't mind if I support USA tonight!!

And I came home to find my crocuses in full bloom. They smell pretty yummy too!!

I love spring!!!!!

Mr B is making a big effort to undertake more household tasks. He did the shopping while I was away. I had Vegemite on the list. We now have a humungous jar of Vegemite in the pantry. If anyone wants little parcels of Vegemite sent to them let me know :H

Great stuff Saucy. But can you close the lid properly on that yellow lidded bin to the lift of screen? We don't want paper blowing across the street and into a stray white pointer's jaws.

Vegemite and avo on toast. Lettuce/sprouts optional. Or, whip up a quick salad and chuck a tin of tuna or salmon in.
